Am one of Baba's fan right from my primary school days up to the tertiary institution like Megastar,Fuji ropopo,ijo yoyo,lakukulala etc.The composition and percussion was so great. i.e Evergreen unlike what we have now that we make someone to be wondering what is being dishing out now.Then to the interview granted by THE GENERAL.This is so deep by THE GENERAL himself.He had said it all by being plain unlike someone given unnecessary history of Fuji.Baba' (Agba oni tan lori 'le).Your days on earth shall be more fruitful in good health,sound mind,prosperity and with peace of God Amen.infact you are my living legend like Baba Aremu Olasupo Obey Fabiyi and King Sunday Adeniyi Adegeye(KSA)Kudos to the presenter too.God bless Ejire oyila too. Did he admit this while SAB was alive? Àìfàgbà f'énìkan ni kò j'áyé ó gún. You and someone can be friends but that same person can also be ur boss. Both relationships ain't the same. Give honours to whom deserves it; u won't die! Now the same Kollington is now finding it difficult to bring Wasiu under his authority. It is purely Karma.

Everyone has his person. Never liked Barrister kind of fuji. It was Kolligton that introduced most Christians to Fuji. He made it fast tempo a bit, reduced the Islamic influence a bit. Introduced instruments to fuji.

The greatest Fuji artist ever. The legend himself.

Good job to the duo of Baba Kollington Ayinla and Ejire( My guy...I love ur presentation) But if I may confess, Kolllington would have established and confirmed this 15years ago instead of the purported unhealthy rivalry which he called( 'Orogun Owo') or so between him and the creator of Fuji. Chief S.A.O BALOGUN. This would have resolved a lot of issues on ground in their Fuji music and as he rightly pointed out....those coming behind find it so difficult also to give honor to whom honor is due. Yoruba wa...Let's do away with showering encomium posthumously. Let's learn to value our helpers of destiny while they are still living not after they are gone. For Barrister to have merely encouraged Kollington to go back fully to Fuji music as confirmed by Kollington himself is indeed and really weighty.. what a large minded, well wishing and not being self centered Ayinde Barrister was in his life time. Above all which is my observation and submission, regardless of how rich or famous any Fuji musician may be today....i have never seen anyone who has allowed his name and even oriki like ayinde(which i refer to as ('goodwill') to be used by upcoming fuji musician like the way Wasiu did as Wasiu Ayinde Barrister in the 80s before Marshal or what have you, it was this that gave him recognition and got him easily established in the Fujimusic industry . If this is wrong, is there any one with...Toeeb Ayinde Marshal, Ojoge Kollington Ayinla or Moshood Alabi Pasuma or what have you who began with any of these guys name and goodwill?This alone makes Alhaji Sikiru Ayinde stands out among them all as a Benefactor of an inestimable Value to all Fuji Musician. I pray for the repose of Alhaji Sikiru Ayinde Barrister gentle soul. May God reward all his Children most abundantly. Amenl

He said it all in his interview, fans arguing and fighting over them while they sit around together eating in the same plate. Their rivalry is just for show and that is what sell their music most. Anyway, Sir Kola mostly emphasize his contribution to Fuji and sang it as the person that introduced many instrument into it.... "ti e ba morin ni koye kebu rara, tie ba morin koye kebu rara" ... that alone tells you that he never owned up to be the creator but a very great contributor to the music...
