that's the tragedy of Rhaenyra's plan this episode; she assumed Alicent still had control over the Greens...but that moment had long already passed

When you remarked on Ser Criston Cole's Hand of the King badge being designed into his armor around his neck, it reminded me that when I was originally watching this episode, I felt like I had seen that design before. I looked it up and found that Tyrion had a similar design for the Battle of the Black Water in GoT season 2.

The whole scene with Daemon taking harrenhall was amazing, best part of this episode by far.

It's unclear Criston Cole was supposed to guard Helaena's door that night. But, in any case, as lord commander of the king's guard, he was in charge of the safety of the red keep as whole. There was no guard to speak of. Daemon could easily have sneaked into the castle himself with 10-20 men and slayed everyone.

Daeron is the Third Son of Alicent and Viserys he should be 15 years old and has a blue dragon

Sorry but it is one of the best episode, adds so much layers to the characters, not everything has to be blood and action.
