    When you click on the unlock button to open the list of progression targets, you can click on all the unlocked targets to remove them from the list. Then you won't have to keep scrolling to find the next target to work on.

    Btw the station building itself counts as platform so you can save some space / fit more platfroms itno the building radius. Also, if you hold shift, you can quickly set input/output storages and copy/paste between same buildings. Also, use distribution centers near your quarrys, forestries, etc.. it gives production bonus the more of the same buildings are connected to the same road and in range, but doesnt give any bonus if different kind of productions are in range. Also, you dont need to fit all the workers on the same train. if your train is too big it will run empty most of the time

    You said early in the video that the train/station selection is a bit poor at times. And I agree, though a workaround for this is to use the requirement signal in front of the stations and use the recalculate option on it. This forces the train to recalculate its route, and thus more likely to select a free platform on the station!

    Recalculate?!? Why is there an option to not do that at each signal? The routes seem to be predetermined when the train leaves the station, which is wild, and makes the trains just act funny...that feels like a big miss in implementation.

    @@bballjo I guess the reason why it doesn't do that at every signal is due to cpu power it then needs. When you have 100 trains and signals every few few tiles, then that will culminate in quite a cpu load. And you really only need it before busy train stations. Talking about train stations, a tip for your station is to have the same amount of exits as you have entrances. Your main problem with the station is that you have 3 entrance lines and only one exit line. This causes trains to wait to get out of the station, and then in turn it causes trains to build up to get into the station. Great series to follow!

    One thing I haven't figured out: dispatching a single train to a station that needs a resource. Using optional stops, I can have several trains waiting fully loaded, but as soon as the conditions are met, all the trains try to go at once. Is anyone aware of a mechanism that can track the resources en route, or trains en route, so I can limit the number of trains sent to a destination?

    Short: yes. Long answer: I will try to pick which guides are actually outdated and make new versions, and it would be helpful if viewers like you could point me to the ones you think are in such a state. New season will happen around 1.0 release, which I hope isn't that far off anymore.

    @bballjo how about a guide on how to keep your people happy and sick free when the game is fully released, like how far the factory needs to be and other stuff. Since most of them guides are kind of old as their asphalt sidewalk now and most show cobblestone. So, a whole new update tutorial/ guides think be good idea

    The random crashes occur due to a bug at 3x gameplay speed. It has to do with multithreaded processing of signals when it runs very fast. Unfortunately it's not something you've done. You can use only 2x speed and they shouldn't occur, but that's a different bummer.

    my game definately only crashes on 3x speed, never on 2x, IMO only

    I have noticed that too. Ran my late game map on x2, no trains get stuck or crashing... then i put it at x3 and i see them do it sometimes. It's still relatively rare though. These extra lights he added on the exit of the station will probably help a bit though.
