I am following you almost from the beginning. I don't know if I have wrote something before to you, but today, watching your daughter, son and pregnant wife I realized that you almost quietly had made your family, your work, your art and love part of our life. I talk of you with my friends like the guy from Slovenia that is strong, patient, constant, I say to them, he has the skills of a master, he is creative like the best artist, he is a great dad and husband. I wish you and your family the best not only because you deserve it but because I feel God is with you. Nick, Sr, Gentleman my respect and admiration.

Nik, when you made your main door, it could be one of the strongest in that valley, but now that your nearly done with both porch and balcony - your log house can be the strongest house there made by a single man. A loghouse to last more than a hundred years.

My favorite part of this video has been the family reactions. Kid walking up and seeing the deck and saying "woooooow" and then proceeding to help, and the wife/girlfriend coming out after dropping that massive log on the balcony and saying "what are you doing?" and then smiling and giving a kiss. You're living the dream man.

What a journey you have had and taken us along with you. From the bike trail course. to a tree house, to an A frame. and to the start of your home. Lots of changes amd new tools and machinery as well. I've just been in awe of your skill and creativity. Congrats on having a baby on the way. Where you live ...there are not the correct words to describe what you get to enjoy on a daily basis.
