I did a test between Zee 6200mah 100c vs CNHL 90C 6200MAH. The cnhl was 10mph faster than the Zee lipo. By far the new SMC v3 speed run lipo is the best i have tested.

Ya dude I just bought a cnhl black series 5000mah 65c, o have not ran ot yet. But the reason why I got a cnhl was bcuz there c rates. Bcuz I'm sure that u all know that ALOT of battery manufacturers lie on there c rates. And they r a great value for what ur getting. Thanks again Aron.

I've only been running cnhl for the past 2 years for my testing batteries. SMC still has faster packs but not by much and for double the price. Use the cnhl till you max out then use an smc to get the final top speed pass. Been seeing + 8mph difference between cnhl and other brands like spektrum, zee, traxxas, hrb, hoovo, power hobby etc.

Nice! I have a couple of the 5500mah 3S 120C bricks from Zeee and I'm happy with them so far. People are saying they are actually around 80-100c but that's plenty more than the 50c 2200mah packs I was running. Good for bashing, but I'd think you would want to match your C rating and Mah so you don't have too much draw or not enough 'gas' in the tank for speed running.

What about quality control and safety with these budget brands? Have you found any information about this? Performance info is great, but general reliability and safety is my primary concern.

I have done a datalog with the smc speed run v3 6200 4s pack. The smc 6200 srd will handle 350 amps for a few seconds.

Great batteries, especially for racing qwads. Im a nitro guy for rc cars, so I haven't tried them for that.

CNHL have been my go-to pack for a few years now, predominantly for EDF and large electric air applications, although now sourcing some smaller cells for boats (spinning a prop through water draws current like nothing else lol). You are probably aware of the battery testing on RCGroups, where CNHL perform well in some years, but not so much in others. And therein lies the rub, right? We cant know where brands are sourcing their cells from and our favourite packs may not be consistent from year to year.

A bit weird that the HRB didn't surpass all the other brands, I've used all kind of Lipo packs brands and HRB proved to be top quality & performance, HRB cell tabs are connected in series by spot welding as opposed to all other brands who cook the heck of their cells while joining them by soldering, and it definitely shows in form of

I had no idea you are Canadian. I purchased 2 CNHL 6.0 6S lipos. Thank you for all the hard work over the years

I would love to see you test an smc battery, I would imagine they would be the best batteries you can get a hold of (if they ship to Canada). I would suggest taking a look at the rc groups lipo load testing forum, just this year alone they were able to do scientific load testing to over 55 lipos from different brands. (It’s a EDF paradise!)

Ran both of these in 1/8 off - road buggys ; the ZEES ended up puffy or not charging evenly ( pre - puffed ? ) and consequently disposed of correctly ( not kidding , do this guys )

Ive gotten 130mph plus on 3s parallel with CNHL 70c. In a big 1/7 scale, Arrma. Fantastic lipos for the price. SMC are better, but of course, they cost more too.
