It’s very surreal seeing somebody summarize a story you wrote (especially so well, it’s clear to me you were paying good attention!) but thanks for making a review of the nation! Hope you enjoyed it, sorry you didn’t like the ending, the original draft had it just end at the rebirth of mother but I wanted to have her get some kind of triumph so I patched that event in shortly after release. It’s the first story I sat down and wrote from start to finish (with the help of my excellent co-writer LusaLy who covered about half the events) and I learned a lot from hearing what people liked and did not like. Hopefully the next story I write will end on a more satisfying note!

I think one of the big problems with the ending isn't content itself but the tone. If the verbage of the ending event and the focuses made it sound less like "well we can't stop now" and more like "you are unleashing a second apocalypse onto North America", hyped the mother's future wars up a bit, it'd be way better.

Yeah, my most favorite factions in this mods are super wholesome hummingbirds and the ruminators. Wish we had a sub mod expanding them

To be honest, this entire focus tree feels like something from the MLP mod instead of Fallout. Wonder if the dev who worked on this did work for that mod.

I never actually finished it, though, and I have no idea what the final product looks like, so I don't know how much if any of my work ended up actually being used.

If you wanna play a nation that's actually cooking something for you, play Manifest (The funny cowboy lady ai). I don't wanna spoil it, but you get a LOT more than just some flavor text at the end of the conquest of Canada. Just pay some attention to events, otherwise the finish might make little sense when things transition from "manifest destiny kill all natives" to "Scandinavian mythology is real".

The Brotherhood in Montana is interesting, they have a split path between being (I think) a standard Brotherhood of Steel and the Sisters of Steel which has its own things to it, I didn't finish my playthrough of the Sisters of Steel but some of the buffs they get seem pretty nuts, also McArthur is an Enclave remnant that has some interesting things you can do with them

You have 3 paths. There is regular Brotherhood path, Sisters of Steel coup, and another more hidden path. You can go regular Brotherhood, but choose to spare the Sisters, it will make a new breakaway nation spawn which then has some very story heavy and whacky stuff.

I imagine the voice, just dankus whispering in your ear: look at those schtats oman alta. Now esport them.

The Last Patrol is a good playthrough.

I love the choir the hippie path and the dark path are pretty fun. Other memey paths is Twin Mother's marrying lanuis path and the entirety of Robot City. Scizophrenic Big Grass is also pretty good.

The good side of the focus tree to me is the best. You actually ally with people and get power armor psychics special division.

Total Mommy Victory.

Try the pioneer company up in canada, beside mittelmark, safehaven and straascommune or smth along thoose lines. A decent story with lots of decisions, should make a good, all be it maybe a long video :) Its a hard start, so be ready to protect red deer ;)

Mr Guy from a place called college. The majors in this mod are quite awesome! If you want a few interesting nations, Mohave Chapter, Shale's Army, NCR and Ceasar (a guy of your talents probably want the civil war paths) all places close to Dog city (hang dogs, robot city, BOS), Heavens Gate is interesting. Then there are a few with simple focus trees but get challenging because of hard wars, The Shi (i recommend some naval invasions early just so it doesnt get boring), The warren, Mirelurk tribe

If you're ever gonna do another OWB video I highly suggest either the Duchy of Langenburg or Iron Confederacy. DoL starts as a puppet of the Kingdom of Manitoba and their early game is building up for an eventual rebeling, and the Iron Confederacy are Canadian Indians who are pushed to the brink of extinction

Should give the maxs0n expedition a try, very hard but once you succeed you start rolling over everybody. Now add a good focustree, unique tech and a good story.
