I have one Alter Ego pallet which I had shipped over to Scotland and I love it. The Sakura one is a dream to use. If shipping and tax was not so expensive I've have more from AE as they dupe so well. This one u used looks absolutely perfect and I love the colours, especially coming into spring. That eye look is beautiful on you. Green is great on you. ​@mrsfoss3368 If I remember correctly the postage / delivery cost me more than the pallet. Its ridiculous the cost of ordering. I'd love to have more of their pallets but it's too expensive being so farcaway. Maybe one day they will be available via a UK stockist. Fingers crossed 🤞 xxx

Love when you do two eyes with “dups” so much fun

I appreciate dupe palettes because they make certain color stories affordable. That said, I usually don’t end up loving Alter Ego palettes. I’ll often buy them to see if the color story is one I will actually use. If I find that I really love and use the color story, I’ll wait for a sale to get the original ND palette. I love the ND formula and their shimmers are usually stunning.

I totally agree with you. I commend how closely they came to a dupe here for the price but I still saw the difference. ND palettes are superb and I'll hit up a sale if need be. If that makes me a makeup snob then I guess I'll go but some Grey Poupon after I pick up a new ND palette. 😂 Kudos to Alter Ego though. Awesome dupe! 👏

I love Alter Ego. Their formula is quite good and their mimics are usually pretty comparable.

Wow! This is an actual dupe 😮 I no longer want to spend too much money into make up and this seems a great alternative to one of my fav color story by ND (but that I’ve never bought bc of the retail price tag) thank you Angela!

I'm still a little nervous to wear bolder colours because of my hooded eyes but I will get there. I'm already starting to add a pop of colour under my lash line now. When I first looked at Yucca, I thought this palette is exactly like a bruise. I think that’s why I love it now. All of the colours of a bruise are all the shadows that show well against skin. Does this make sense? Anyway, the mustards are day five to day ten in the evolution of a bruise 😂

I agree! I watched a dupe video earlier today and the woman used two browns and a champagne shimmer on the lid lol. Like huh? We can see those looks all day long on KZread. I want to see the mustards and the greens! That’s annoying

I love the shades in the Yucca palette but as much as I love it I can't spend that much on a palette more than once or twice a yr so to see thr is a way cheaper dupe with pretty much the same shades is so awesome. Now I can get the colors I want without spending a high amt for it. Thrilled! I'd never heard of Alter Ego before 😏.

I fully thought the Alter Ego eye was the Natasha eye because of the shimmers! The shimmers in the Alter Ego palette look duller in the pan but wow! Once they’re on the eyes, they’re even better!

I have their Shadow Kiss palette, and the Coastal palette and the shimmers are so much better in Coastal. They must be improving their shimmer formula because it’s so silky and buttery now. Very nice, this is the first video that I watched of you comparing two different price ranges of makeup. Awesome job comparing, and describing while the swatch and applying the eye shadow. I can not see the difference between the eye looks. ( I believe that is good). About your recommendation for the blush at what level of medium shade would you recommend the product a person would wear it? TIA.
