For everyone telling us to watch more, heres the plan for naruto going forward: Tomorrow will be 469 Next week will be a bit slower just to give us a break. It eill be 480-483 +THE LAST on Friday. After that, we're going BACK to watch the Kakashi Anbu arc. And then Itachi Shinden. Then after that we're going to watch Sasuke's Story arc, and continue from there until the final episode of the show before moving onto boruto!

I hope you would consider watching the 9th OVA, "Honoo no Chuunin Shiken! Naruto vs Konohamaru" at some point. It's really short (14 min) so it isn't that big of an investment.

I would highly recommend you guys watch episode 500, the final episode of the series. The animation is spectacular and it reveals the ending of the Konoho Novel where you get to see all of the pairings of the characters as well as the developing relationship between Hinata and Naruto and a very small tease into the next generation of Boruto. It is quite a touching story and a really nice ending to the series as a whole.

When Sasuke said he lost, he didn't mean he lost the fight. It was a fight of their ideals and Sasuke's ideals lost against Naruto's.

That's your interpretation of it. Sasuke met the battle and his ideals. Especially since Naruto was holding back, similar to Hashirama and Madara when they fight.

The only time Naruto went all out during that battle was to counteract Indura's Arrow, a freaking 10-tails attack!

Naruto said that if he and Sasuke fight, they would both die. And they would have if it weren't for Sakura. Remember when Sakura asked which one she would save first? In the end, she couldn't pick one over the other, so she saved both of them at the same time.

I love how Sakura had “WTF did you 2 do?!” written all over her face😂

Honestly for kakashi im sure its a combination of force of habit and a matter of general comfort, he has for the better part of like 15 years covered his left eye 99 percent of the time, so im sure hes still not used to having his full field of vision and without the sharingan its probably disorienting rn coordination wise

Yeah he probably has a lot of stress associated with that side of his vision. To his subconscious, a full view probably means it's combat time.

What I like about the ending is Sasuke, the 2nd Protagonist is the one who said the closing lines instead of the Main Protagonist. I also liked it ended with the Main Theme. Thank you Boldcast for reliving my hype for shippuden! I always watched your reaction videos and it is you guys are one of the best reactors. :D

Sasuke’s words at the end of the episodes just fills me with joy, such a perfect ending.

Yeah this definitely one of most satisfying endings especially in Shonen. A lot of the endings from others series sometimes feel rush or just leave stuff out. The one thing I wish they did was animated the epilogue from the manga.

@@mohamedabib0 We never see any of the main cast in those roles, and nothing ever confirms that they were. But if you'd actually read what I wrote you'd have seen me say I'd like to SEE this happen.

You guys would be silly to skip the rest of the show, at least the canon parts. I would highly recommend watching all of them tbh, such a nice epilogue for all the characters. Also, are yall gonna watch ep 469? It's a must tbh.

Love that shikamaru went and joined kakashi because he wanted to learn everything so knew what to do when Naruto was hokage.

What more do we want?! You get to see the relationships between the characters, whats happening after the major events took place (the nice aftermath) and where the characters go as well, basically Naruto becomes a nice slice of life after this. For a couple of episodes that are canon. It’s like fan service for all naruto fans(: and it’s a nice change of pace since we really never explore that too much since it’s a shounen

I love how naruto was able to get all his answers throughout his journey that's why he was not talking or thinking extra and sasuke was trying to start a new journey with new ideas and that's why the journey ended up with sasuke's words.

After the Bleach, SNS, AOT, GOT endings, Naruto's ending is perfection. So many authors crash the landing for some reason.

This is technically the end of the Naruto manga in the anime, aka Chapter 699. Chapter 700 was the reveal of Boruto era designs and stuff, (and gave just a little more closure because we actually saw Naruto as Hokage) but they never animated it. Everything after this is still canon though. They were just done by Kishimoto after the official finale.

They didn't rebuild the swing, the swing is indestructible it was build by hagoromo using all of his power before he split the ten tails All hail the swing

It's also possible that Kakashi doesn't want everyone to know he doesn't have a Sharingan until after he leaves the Hokage position.

For those wondering yes they will react to the last movie. It's currently on their Patreon as of now. However 500 might be up to them. Since it's not part of Shippuden story(this ep ended that). It's the epilogue to the movie and bridge to Boruto in a sense

23:22 in this video: "And it was good.", made me think of that god quote from the bible with "and it was good", so let´s revise it today: "And Lindsay and Carson saw every thing that He(Kishimoto) had made, and, behold, it was very good." To me the best thing of the entire ending was Naruto telling Iruka that it was all thanks to what he said that night 5 years earlier.. it is like the butterfly effect, such a small thing might have saved the world entire.. I believe that these little things really make the world a little bit better place each time and who knows who we can save with just a smile to a stranger :)

tbh I'm the same as Carson. I tuned out during the Kaguya stuff, came back probably a year later to see Naruto vs Sasuke, and only watched up to this episode cause it felt like a good bookend. I saw the last movie, but that was about it.

You should at least watch episode 500 trust me, thats a really good one, it has really heart warming moments. If you want to react to Boruto, you should watch the two mini arcs, after the children episodes, because they bring things that you see in Boruto.

I'm a manga purist so I'm not a huge fan of filler. But I do think The Last and episode 500 are worth the watch. They are both very heartwarming. The rest of it is pretty meh though.

Well The Last Movie is officially known as Chapter 699.5 and Kishimoto did the story for the movie so it makes sense total sense to watch it.

Sasuke wanted to stop world dictatorship though, cause that's what the villages are, that's another way of looking at it

Villages in the Naruto Universe are basically ruled by military dictators, so in essence Naruto just successfully preserved that military dictatorship.

Well All the villages now would rely on Democratical voting for hokage, and unlike typical places in real world where people don't really fight much for their nations, the sense of nationalism (The Will of *insert name*) is a major concept used, which makes sure the dictatorship isn't like that bad of a deal, well it's not exactly dictatorship but Monarchy instead.

Tbh Gaara is kazakage at the age of 16 and Yagura was mizukage at 14, i don't see why Naruto couldn't be hokage right away, he leaded the entire shinobi forces at the end and basically saved the world.

Could you imagine the next chuunin exam. "Ok, 11yr old genin, you've done 12 D missions and 2 C's. You can now take part in the Chuunin exam. Fight the guy who defeated a literal god and is one of the strongest people on the planet so we can see if you pass"

Carson and Lindsay after finish naruto: "You Know".

5:51 The village is hidden, as in obscured behind cover, not as in a secret location. The village and its borders are obscured by trees to allow ninjas to come and go without being seen by any enemy lookouts. This should be rather obvious seeing as they held the Chunin exams inside the village.

Imagine Yamato, last thing he remembers he wasnt eaten by a Snake dude and then knocked out for like a week, then he wakes up in the middle of a war and sees Hiruzen in front of him, then immediatley passes out again and has some another crazy dream, and then eventually wakes up from some cocoon on the middle of giant desolate battlefield. Man probably feels like he woke up from the craziest fever dream ever.

Thank you guys for this incredible journey! I can't believe I've been keeping up ever since the arc where Naruto and Jiraiya went to get Tsunade in original Naruto. I have always considered this episode together with The Last and the Hokage OVA the true ending of the entire franchise. I will keep up with Boruto and your other reactions for sure but I won't pretend like this isn't the end of a great journey. Talk no Jutsu remains unbeatable.

Did you recognize someone from the past that was standing in line waiting to see Naruto at the village entrance? It was the crystal style user from when they were trying to seal the 3 tails.

I really think y’all should react to those novel adaptations. Like yeah that was the official ending. Well not really since the anime didn’t adapt the last chapter of the manga being chapter 700 but they just adapted the novels which are canon and are actually really good. And even though the ending was this in the manga for the most part, there is a pretty good ending of it. But of the official Naruto story of the source material, this is the ending. Plus chapter 700 which was introduction of the new 5 Kage, Naruto as Hokage, Boruto, and the other new generation children. I don’t feel like you should let the rest taint your memory of this ending, although I don’t see why or how it would since it’s pretty damn good, since if you reference the manga which is the story, this would still be the ending. I’m just saying the novel adaptations are pretty damn cool to see. And thank you for acknowledging the amazing ending that the Naruto series has. People like to hate and call it trash for some stupid reason. And a lot of people talk about the actual ending of the story of the manga and call it trash which was this episode. The other ending of the anime is still just great to see.

Everything after this is from the light novels. It is worth watching. Especially the Sasuke filler arc, episodes 484 through 488.

The amount of filler at the end truly was hell (and it was worse because it was just greed from the studio to keep milking Naruto, previous filler was to give the manga time), I stopped watching for about a year and restarted 4 weeks before this episode. But it really is a great ending, a fair amount of people have its problem with the Kaguya twist but that or any other villian was never going to be the ending, it was always going to be Naruto and Sasuke and they completely nailed that part

I loved how this ended it was so good & I liked the epilogue of the show a lot it really felt finale finale to me anyway. Sasuke went through so much shit lol idk who in this show had it worse between him, Naruto, Garra & Madara or even Obito and Kakashi. They wrote this so well & Shikamaru is the perfect guy to be an assistant to the Hokages & even though Iruka was never a big character in the series he helped turned Naruto around when no one else would

I can see where your coming from BUT I can almost assure you that your going to love the last few episodes. Oh can’t forget that Naruto: The Last is connected to the last few episodes. Again I see where you were coming from but these next few episodes are 🔥 especially the 500th episode. Oh and most of its canon and not filler. I bet your going to say you loved it in the end.

The school part of the episode is filler.. Naruto never actually becomes a chunin or a jonin, he just becomes hokage later on.

To answer your question, "what more do you want?" Honestly, for me personally, I just enjoy watching Naruto. It's my favorite anime of all time and I've watched a lot of anime in general, so with that being said, yes this ending was extremely satisfying, but I just enjoyed the fights, the adventure, the characters, and the story. So after this, I just wanted to see more of everything because I enjoyed watching/reading it so much. Obviously I know it will end eventually, and I'll be upset when it does, but I just want to ride out this series for as long as I can because I just love everything about it. Now obviously there's exceptions to that rule, being that they don't completely butcher it or mess things up to where I don't enjoy it anymore, but so far that's not the case, so yeah, that's why I continued with it.

Really hope you guys decide to watch 484-500 as they aren't filler and explain more on both sasuke and naruto as well as the events between shippuden and boruto

Carson and Lindsey funny thing that the director was upset that he didn’t get draw Naruto as the Hokage. And the next arc that starts on 480 made because one staff member of the Last, that had read Naruto wanted to make the arc as appreciation to the series. Because he really liked the series.

It’s finally done! 😭 It’s been so much fun watching you guys all this time, especially Lindsay. Many people will disagree, but Naruto Shippuden is always my favorite anime, despite its flaws. I’m looking forward to seeing Lindsay react to the Itachi fillers. I can’t believe the series ended!

Honestly, I agree with you and didn't want anything else from the ending. But episode 500 actually improved on the story going into Boruto. At the VERY least, u should react to ep 500

I dont think people give Sasuke enought credit.... He is to me the most relatable character... He lost everything as his brother was a world to him so by loosing him, he technically lost everything. His coming back is a big thing. Naruto had no sibling at all so he couldn't understand the love of sibling that Sasuke had.
