These guys were hitting eachother like they were dropping entire Battleships across each other's heads.

The mouth guard being full of blood adds another dimension of showing how brutal this is.

A lot of people saying the guy forfeited to save the other guys life. But considering that the big guys head jerked so quickly, he was probably developing some major concussion. You can see at the end that he's really loopy and definitely not all their. The one guy is smaller for sure, but his head moved with his opponents hand more so it's very likely he was less concussed.

I just realized 'Ow My Balls', the TV show from the movie Idiocracy is pretty much the fictional version of this.

When someone takes out a bloody mouth guard I doubt it's for the opponents benefit especially if the the other person is delivering very hard blows the big guy more than likely broke something or had very damaged tissue and when he saw the smaller guy wasn't going to break he gave up bc it wasn't worth the pain.

The real champion is the guy who gave up the match. He was even crying... He probably could have finished it off but decided to put the other man's health on top of it all. Very gentlemanly done. Somethings are worth running through hell for. This ridiculous sport, is not one of em. Even boxers are taught to defend from blows like that. Taking repeated blows like that without movement or some sort of defense can have grave consequences. I hope the pain of recovery is worth it for this guy. He might have died that day.
