We have to start a campaign that says Aussies for all Aussies. Not black get special treatment. I have not approved for my tax money to go to one race over others. Underprivileged white kids should be entitled to same benefits as black kids. I'm yellow aussie, I'd rather everyone is treated equally. Or, if I have to choose I would give to white kid, after all they built Australia. After all, the blacks happened to be in this area when the whites came. But they never built it, never developed or farm it. Or never wanted to. They don't want to work. At least The whites built the country. I'm thankful for white Australian. Yes, they didn't let yellow in the country and had a law to prevent yellow from coming in. and some were racist and thrown water from cars at me since I was in primary school. High School attendance is already a toothless tiger, without adding a layer of racial complexity to it. Saying it could be fixed is like claiming you can fly a submarine during a cyclone.

Just goes to prove the whole thing has nothing to do with providing advice. It's a grab for power to dictate to the rest of Australia, enshrined in the Constitution and therefore extremely difficult, essentially impossible, to reverse.

I think it would be a very real situation since the Yes advocates maintain that the current advice is not working and they expect the Voice to come up with different advice to solve these problems. In the end, knowing she could not offend all public servants working in state and federal indigenous departments, she answered by reverting to taking advice from the department as the default! So now she has admitted that department advice will overide any other. Why the Voice? By the way, I looked at this interview on an ABC video. Did you realise both ABC & SBS block comments being made! At least Sky News is open & brave enough to take comments compared with the 'people's' broadcaster. Good work Andrew.

The ABC, SBS and most MSM block comments from the plebs.... They know very well that we don't buy the heavily-slanted, left-leaning views which they peddle. My response is to not watch any of them!

So......the Albanese "Voice" is simply another layer of beaurocrats who serve a select portion of the community? Who would have thought it? No wonder Albo doesn't want to give details.....because if he did, people would recognise the blatant favouritism. I'm indigenous as well.....but apparently, some are more indigenous than others.

I’ve worked in remote aboriginal communities, the problem is you cannot and are not allowed to force aboriginals to go to school. When I worked in Victoria you could take action and intervene in child welfare issued,ie, a care and protection application. When I can to Queensland and was stationed in aboriginal communities I was informed that was not allowed. In other words the government does not enforce anything in these communities they let then do as they please. Just keep throwing tax payers money in there and keep it all quiet.

Good luck taking any school issue up with Linda. The community can do that now with out any government input. Actually why do we need the government to do this, should it not be up to the parents and then maybe the community to get people into schools.
