I can understand how Erin is feeling . I barely passed any mock tests with my instructor and I passed on my 2nd attempt with 5 minors by gods grace. I never passed a single mock test with my instructor but did pass my real test first time. I think instructors are generally harsher than the real examiners, because they really want you to pass when it comes to the real thing.

I passed my test about a month ago, but I was still making some serious mistakes in the lead up to my test. Then my test was one of the smoothest and best drives I’d had. The nerves can get to you even in the lessons beforehand, on the test just slow your mind down and trust your gut, you know it all already and you can clearly drive well, just need to show the examiner that too. Your both like the dynamic duo where it’s been funny at times. I can remember when the very early stages Erin was as quite as a mouse but now she has really came out of her shell thanks to a really nice instructor. There’s no doubt in my mind Erin will be missed when she passes at some point.

I get the sense that Aman is getting increasingly frustrated with Erin as she still tends to ask questions which she should already knows and lack of preparation for tell me how questions. I hope Erin does pass her practical test as she is more than ready. Good luck Erin ! 😊

Aman may or may not be frustrated with Erin. Remember that Aman need to keep a straight face during a test, so she doesn’t need to be frustrated with Erin because she has a straight face and doesn’t show any emotion..it’s a part of being an instructor

Good luck to you all! I passed my test on Saturday morning with 2 minors after telling everyone I was going to fail! 😂I still can't believe I've passed but it is the best feeling ever, just keep calm throughout and remember mirrors and blinds pots ❤

Not perfect obviously but she has clearly come a long way. I know this sounds silly but when she said “my indicator” rather than “the” indicator or “your” indicator, that shows that she’s in the frame of mind to be a driver. This is a good confident sign.

I just passed mine on Thursday my emergency stop made the back seats pop out my examiner was impressed lol I got 2 minors one for junction speed approach and one for observation after reversing from a forward bay park a car came up behind while I was reversing but I managed to brake in time I was so close to a serious 😊 now the real learning begins

Same with mine, although the examiner didn't wear glasses, but had a ton of paper and pencils on his lap. When I hit the break pedal everything flew 😂😂😂😂. I said that I'm sorry for it, but he was like 'no, no, it's alright, it's okay, don't worry' as he was picking up his stuff. I wanted to laugh but I tried not to.

Erins now starting to seem disinterested she is forgetting things that should be second nature

As a three car, zero manual household, Google was the option to get a pdf of each manual. Often the easiest way is to check the plate (if fitted) on the door frame, driver's side. Erin's answer was, realistically, the best start point.

I totally understand the feeling I passed my test 3rd time a few weeks ago so nerve wracking

If she fails it's because of her attitude, her driving is fine, but her lackadaisical approach to driving will cause her some issues in the future.

The sidedoor and the manual, Erin 😅 for the tire pressure!

Of all the things she could have got a serious fault, and it was the emergency stop, twice! Hit that brake pedal hard! You got this, Erin!

Although she can switch the lanes on roundabout, I believe it is a good practice to teach learners that it is better to go wrong than risk and that going wrong isn't a big deal. Very VERY important lesson.

Modern cars have an Anti-lock Braking System making it hard to skid out of control. So if you brake too hard it will actuate and prevent a skid but the car stops in a shorter distance. When it actuates the brake pedal vibrates but you still keep braking until the car stops. On a good stop the seat belts will likely lock up and need releasing.

Good luck Erin! I failed last week with 1 serious and 0 minor faults so I'm absolutely gutted but chomping at the bit to get on with my next test (sat the 4th of November, literally as soon as I could re sit it 😂) You'll do great Erin just be confident and practise!

Passed earlier this week with 3 minors, luckily I didn't have the Emergency stop but its the one that catches a lot of people out, particularly checking before moving off. If I'm honest I might've failed if i had it bc I hadn't practiced it much before my test, you just have to be good at pretending to react to it like there is a kid in the road, just slamming your foot and not worrying about stalling

Just did by test 3 hours ago. Passed with no faults.

Recommended tyre pressure can be found usually in your car's drivers door well. Or in a Mercedes in the petrol cap. Its easier then finding your car's manual.

Erin's, Good smoothed driving! Very funny girl, she makes you laughs! Good approach to roundabouts! Exit, left to motorways at 50mph. Left to the car park, doing bay parking. Wish you well with your mock test and actual driving test!😊
