And people (supposed Hammers) are upset cos David 'I'm 82!' Gold got shouted at a bit? This was the end of our club. Will NEVER forgive those 3 scumbags who did this to us. Don't expect much sympathy to be fair from other club's fans (re the stadium deal), but for some West Ham to defend our board now? Shame on them.

I stopped watching arsenal in 2002, as arsenal decided to leave highbury Have not seen arsenal since, and never will again Highbury will always be what arsenal was for me, standing on the north bank as a kid For me, arsenal is dead, highbury is gone So i understand what these west ham fans feel like. Highbury went and so did my love for arsenal. So i know what you guys feel like, but off course for you it was west ham, and upton park. Your new ground will never replace the old stadium. Glad i will never watch arsenal again, no matter what they do. Arsenal for me, will always be highbury, remember my first game there paying £4 as a kid to stand on north bank So i know what you west ham fans feel like

Are you serious? No vandalism, no anti social behaviour. What do you do sit behind your locked door unless you really really have to go out. East London used to be a community the local shop keepers publicans business owners even the beat bobbies knew everybody by name Nowadays people don't know their next door neighbour. Gentrification has torn the heart out of London it's the same around Waterloo and Elephant and Castle most of the pubs have been replaced by wannabe bistros and wine bars the people who have bought them can't understand why they're not popular after all the staff wear name badges but the customers don't and as the words to the old TV series "cheers " said. Sometimes you want to go where every one knows your name.when I go in the pub the barmaid calls me by name starts pouring my drink without me having to tell her what I want and asks after my family she knows what school my kids go to because hers go to the same one even if none of my mates are in there I'm not on my own because I can always bunny with the landlord and bar staff. This is what's meant by community not some council owned Community Centre in the middle of an estate

Elephant is beautiful now (still needs some dirty parts to get rid off)...before it was like rubbish everywhere, dirty, messy (old shopping centre and around was like somewhere from Mad Max movies), undeveloped and full of crimes: But still needs jobs to be done there ...Walworth Rd still dirty and polluted....well it was like some villages from 3rd world countries (or like American slams ) ...horrible...

@@nebod1556 I loved the walworth Road back in the 50s and 60s. A1 records, the temple bar, Arments pie and mash, rosemans tailors etc. The Old Kent Road was the same I was down both recently and everything is different true it's cleaner but it's full of the same coffee shops and fast food chains you'll find anywhere in the world it has no identity. The Nelson is the only proper pub left in the Old Kent Road. The Thomas a' Becket, duncow, frog and night, world upside down the wellington all gone or turned into third rate restaurants you're right about the shopping centre though it always was a shit hole. Nowadays i enjoy a stroll down the Bethnal Green road it still feels like Old London.cafes ,pubs, proper chippies stalls and pie and mash shops but as soon as you get away from BGR it's just like every where else in Britain Starbucks, pretty and countless chicken takeaways funny that, when i was a kid chicken was a luxury we'd more often have beef lamb or pork. Nowadays i can't afford that but that's life its constantly changing. I suppose when my kids get to my age they'll be going on about how great life was today
