I believe brad rutter should be the next jeopardy host. He as an acting career, so he might be suited for this. Plus he has the voice for it. Ken Jennings still GOAT tho. And James Holtzhauer REVOLUTIONIZED how the game is played. If it wasn’t for that 5 day cap, who knows where Brad Rutter would be? Remember folks, he’s beaten Ken Jennings in every tournament of champions they showed up on, except Watson...

In the final episode of this tournament, Alex made a heartfelt comment that this would be the last time these four would ever play Jeopardy together. I cannot find it on KZread, though. I would love to see it again.

Trubek looked like he was having so much fun, sad to see him go.

Ken Jennings should be the next Jeopardy host whenever Alex decides to step down as host. To most Jeopardy fans & I, Ken makes the most since.

Agreed. James is without a doubt the GOAT of trash talking, and objectively the GOAT of Jeopardy since Ken was forced to make much larger wagers than he would normally make which paid off handsomely.

Aired in January, but filmed in November or December was it? They film them in advance, which is why Alex wished everyone a happy Thanksgiving even though he was gone long before then, but right around a year after filming

It's nice that we'll get to see these three together all the time on "The Chase" reboot. "Jeopardy! Comedy Hour" every week. 💪🏻

Looking back at this, you can see the ravages the cancer and the treatments were doing on Alex's body. Primarily on how jaundiced his skin is at this point. Another detail not many may not have noticed is the purple ribbons pinned to the clothes of James, Ken, and Brad. A purple ribbon is the symbol of pancreatic cancer research, much like a red ribbon is the symbol of HIV/AIDS research.

Regarding James’ answer, it’s tough to say who the better host of game show tv is because both Pat Sajak and Alex Trebek are icons in their own right. If I had to pick just one though, sorry, Pat. I’d have to go with Alex on this one.

How so? I thought the championship title went to the one with the most total dollar winnings in their appearances. To use an exaggerated example one player could win two million dollars over just a few games while another player might win a huge streak of games but not the most total dollar winnings.

Here after hearing Alex died. I agree with James. Alex was the Greatest Host of Syndicated Television. (Then followed by Pat Sajak).

Just think if Vince McMahon got into the game show business instead of wrestling. This would end up in a draw, or it will end in controversial fashion, all culminating at Jeopardymania.

I feel like the more serious the competition the less they take it seriously.
