I agree, i like his humbleness, far from arrogant but confident in himself, which you need to be if youre going to make it as far as he has. Hes a real top player, doubt will see anyone even near his skill level in the next few years, so enjoy it while it lasts. I think hes the best since james and ken for sure, but other people might think im jumping the gun a little too quick. His performances and statistics have really been good. He may not statistically be performing like james and ken, but hes so very close by coryat score, and hes not done yet so we will see.

This is why i'm glad that the show did away with the five game limit rule back in 2003. That decision allowed for such amazing feats as Ken Jennings' historic 74 game run a year later and we've had others since then (James Holzhauer, Julia Collins, Austin Rodgers) who have had extensive runs in their own right. This guy is yet another record setter for the pile, and boy is he on fire.

I thought when he won his first game that it would be a one-and-done since, with the exception of the High Roller, most people who win $40,000 or more on their first game lose soon after. Needless to say, I’ve never been so happy to be wrong. (and for people who don’t know, yes the “High Roller” is James H., that’s one of his many nicknames)

I dont think peoples success on jeopardy has much to do with their education in general. Not in extreme cases like james, matt, and ken. James used to skip class lol, and didnt put a lot of effort into school and education, and thats from his own mouth. I think a lot of their knowledge is self taught. They really have to be extreme trivia buffs, with amazing memories, who put a lot of extreme individual effort into learning as much as they can about many different topics and subjects. Im sure education helped them learn a lot. Just saying it goes far beyond that to know as much as they know.

Matt Amodio is quite the player but let’s not put him up there with Ken Jennings and James Holzhauer until he makes his 21st win. Ken and James are the only players to win more than 20 games and to pass the $1 million (and $2 million) mark. Matt is more than halfway to reaching the $1 million mark. He is also more than halfway to tying James’ winning streak but he’s still nowhere near to tying James’ total winnings. When James reaches his 18th win, he had already greatly crossed the $1 million mark.

For each reveal he said, "The Answer Is" and for Final Jeopardy he would say, "The Final Jeopardy Answer is". He never said clue. When I was younger home from school that is how Art Fleming ran the game. Jeopardy was developed as a game that gave you the answers and you come up with the question. It is not a clue. I know it is being picky, but if you read the origins of the game, you would know why it was done this way.

Matt is a tremendous Jeopardy player and champion, to be rightfully ranked up there with Messrs. Spangenberg, Jennings, Rutter, Craig and Holzhauer. However, I hope Matt spends some of his $500,000 plus winnings on a better hair cut during Jeopardy’s hiatus. Between Matt and that lady on the right with that “slightly” unusual coiffure/hair color of her own, at least the contestant in the middle had a normal hair style. And, what about guest host Joe Buck’s great looking hair transplant? Heck, President Joe Biden should have gone to Joe Buck’s hair transplant doctor instead of the apparent butcher, who put all of those oh-so-lousy looking plugs in/on the president’s head.

That way it puts the pressure on her to bet everything AND get the answer correct. If so, he still ties her and they go to a tiebreaker. I know the point is moot because he got the question right, but I think it was really taking a chance. On a side note, I'm one of those viewers who find him annoying.
