If FFXV taught me something, it's that if side media is needed to fill gaps of information, than the narrative is flawed in it's entirety. I have read several Assassin's Creed novels and they allways felt like expansions, rather than patches.

7:00 It took me this long to realize Zettaflare is a stronger variation of Bahamut's signature move, Megaflare (in the metric system, zetta is to the power of twenty-one, mega is to the power of six). That means Donald Duck is canonically a Bahamut in Kingdom Hearts and one of the two strongest Bahamuts in Final Fantasy. At least until someone inevitably uses yottaflare to quettaflare anyway.

@@NuniPikachu Friendly reminder the quality of the user is important. Donald "dies" using the technique. He's not that guy. It's like the difference between Goku using Kaio Ken x4 in early dbz and regular kaoi ken in buu saga (he never did this it's just an example). x4 is stronger but Goku is way stronger in buu saga, so a normal kaoi ken is far stronger than the x4 from before. Even if it is to the power of 21 vs 6.

When Jill and Clive are talking in certain cutscenes you can here My Star playing in the background. They could have maybe used the curse symptoms to justify her staying behind since priming is expeditates it far more then spell casting but Joshua was sick. We need Jill and Cid dlc.

She had more value than Luna, but that's such a low bar to cross 😅. So much more personality is shown with Tifa and Aerith, is there NO other ideas that can be given to the current female characters other than being the girlfriend or stepping in the shoes of their male counterparts? (Cindy and Mid being the Cid of their games. Yes, Mid was more of the usual Cid than FF XVI's actual Cid was, lol). Not sure what all is going on with XIV, as I don't play it, but I think XIII might have been the last time female characters were given a good spotlight, with Lightning, Fang and Vanille.

The Sonic Frontiers comparison was the best part.

If you think about it, Clive's mother was probably the most dangerous female character in Final Fantasy. Because of her pure lust for power, she discriminated against her husband and her own children as hostages, and then sold them to an enemy country, and her son became a slave. Although he became prime minister of an enemy country, he had enormous political power but was unable to handle it properly, throwing a relatively healthy country into economic and political chaos. Even though Altema destroyed everything, she still lost her senses and only cared about her own safety, causing the loss of everything she had left. Even her son tried to show her mercy, but ended up taking his own life. She almost looks like a Disney villain, or game of throne characters

Actually, Exaflare exists, which is even stronger than Tetraflare. However, most people don't remember it, because the only Mainline versions of it are in XIII-2 (which most people probably wouldn't have played, because 13...) or XIV, which it's just a game mechanic and not a party killing event.

I totally bought her romance with Clive and cared about her/them, but goddamn did she not have any cool moments. I get she was completely spent due to her time as an Eikon slave, but she deserved to at least off Clive’s mom or hold her own against Barnabus or something
