He sacrificed his most loyal follower, a man who just wanted to help. A man who was chosen by the crystal. He bent Ardyn over and dogged him raw. It ain't fair for him.

@@lailas3301 usually throughout history in a lot of cultures the man is older than his wife and is seen as a more mature thing, the land where Noctis comes from definitely follows a old European style of marriage where the men would be older than the women. Having an older woman with a younger man is seen as odd but it is a different era so yeah nothing is wrong with Luna being older than Noctis of course.

I feel like they heavily implied that the guys didn't make it, either. :< They showed up along with Luna and Regis when Noct was fighting Ardyn one last time, and it also showed the four empty camping chairs. I really think they died protecting Noctis.

Then again FF15 is chock full of unexplained and awkward information (Prompto being one lol). So I'm wondering if perhaps it was that kind of situation, leading to abstract interpretation. I mean, because those chairs are empty when they leave for the final battle and what not, which is how I personally interpreted it as like a send off to their 'good old days'. But then again, you have good points. We see the guys in the afterlife (which I thought was odd seeing how the guys have been daemon hunting for 10 years so if they were to of died, who the hell fucked up?lol) and the only reference we're given for an epilogue are indeed the empty chairs. So *shrugs* like alot of information in FF15, we're left will no clear answers :/. But yes, I get why it can be read that way, I personally like to think it was all Noctis's personified friend love that was standing by him for the sake of sparing me some tears xD.

Ignis, Prompto and Gladio all died too.......they died holding the castle as Noctis went to claim his bright right. You see them fighting with him in the Afterlife against Ardyn along with Lunafreya and everyone else who died at that point. The final battle in general had to be fought in the afterlife so that the human world wasn't destroyed by the sheer force of power going off between enemies........but yeah, they all died in the name of their King and country

I'm super late and I just finished the game this year. Man, I still can't get over that Noctis is dead. Also the fact that they both sleep here means that they're both resting in peace. Then the logo at the end, damn, it symbolizes that Noctis is reunited with Luna in the afterlife.

I literally played ff15 7 times, only because i loved how relieving that feeling is, when you played the whole game just to see noctis and luna finally together.

nope, they're dead. The Gods can't bring anyone back to life. And in order for their country to be saved int eh first place Noctis at least had to die. That was the whole point of his being born in the first place: he was born so that he could eventually sacrifice his life to save his country. Hence the name "Noctis" (Latin roughly translating to "a light in the darkness"). As you find out in Ignis' DLC, Noctis was ALWAYS destined to die. Without his death the country would be swept in eternal darkness

Decided to re-enter the Final Fantasy franchise with this entry... that secret cutscene is one of the most beautiful video game sequences I’ve seen in my 16 years of gaming. FFXV was one of two games to make me cry upon completion. That brotherhood stuff hit me HARD

This was so beautiful! I couldnt help but cry ;) they're finally at peace with each other.

So wait... I just realized something... Since the wall is still destroyed... OH MY GOD! This wasn't just their secret wedding, it was Noctis' memorial service 😢😢😢 Jeez man... Noctis and Luna still inhabit the walls of Insomnia as spirits, but this room was literally used to remember their deaths...

When Noctis joined in the end, I teared up.

I don't care how bare the game was on release, easily one of the most bittersweet and beautiful endings of a Final Fantasy title, O King of Kings.

This truly does put a smile on my face. I just started the final fantasy games and looking forward to indulging into the entire franchise after this beautiful game. So happy to hear that the remakes are coming to Xbox.

Beautiful game honestly, even with so much missing it was still an enjoyble experience.

Rest in Peace... Well Everyone! I still Don't understand Ardyn still won, Caelum line of succession is over. What's going to happen to Insomnia, and the Kingdom? And I wish Luna was a Playable character, and her wedding dress was an outfit attire you could have her fight in.

Ardyn didn't win. His goal was to end the Caelum line BEFORE they could bring the light to the kingdom. If Noctis had simply died without claiming his birthright and without sacrificing his life willingly, then darkness would have eternally covered the world and daemons would have been able to rule. But Noctis not only claimed his birthright but fulfilled his destiny by being a sacrifice. Even if Noctis died in the process, the light he unleashed reigns over his kingdom in his stead for eternity so even if someone else becomes King that light won't go away and will protect everyone.

SE please lets have the next final fantasy have a real happy ending :I Well i know that final fantasy always had a tragic ending, but you see we need real happy ending once in awhile. Its like some korean soap opra. They meet, they fell in love and than someone has to die. I don't like that !

Finally finished the game. I chose a random selfie Prompto had taken of the four of them and it made me sob like a baby. I wish I could have the experience of playing this game for the first time again so I could see the logo change again. It's so good. Go Square Enix!

Two lovers reunited in death...both incredably sad and incredably happy and heartwarming

This scene really got me into tears...how Prompto and them let go of Noctis even though they knew that he was going to die...and how it would've been if they got married happily..😭😭😭😭😭

This made me cry.....

I almost fuckin bawled at this scene. Coz ever since i was a teen, i've always fantasized the FF Prelude playing at my wedding. And then i saw this scene.

I mean overall i cried, but it probably would have really hit me hard if it were the chocobros who were together in the afterlife, on the road again.

And this is a SECRET ending cutscene why?

So true...Secret...Secret...there are no Secrets in FF ! Its only 1 Ending for everyone.Plus there are no Secret Quests...

Aki0shiN well, there kinda are some secret quests. A lot of The quests doesnt show up as a mark on ur map, u have to randomly be able to trigger Them.

Yeah but there only People whos Cars are broken or the Treasure Hunt.The Rest is on the Map.

Aki0shiN nope, Pitioss dungeon is a Non marked dungeon until you enter it. This dungeon is kind of connected to a quest called stealing the past, Which is not marked on The map ever. Another example is The quest called scraps of mystery. This is only two of many examples. Other smaller quests Get teiggered If u make a camp at specific camping spots, etc.
