Don't worry, none of us have ever met Vrytra (or however that name is written...) - but her form suggests that she, too, is of the First Brood of Midgardsomr, which makes her a sister to Tiamat, Bahamut and the others, and we know that there were seven of these children since Midgardsomr escaped his home world with seven eggs. There are speculations about her, that she is the youngest and other stuff related to norse mythology, but this is pretty much all we "know" for the moment. I suppose she roosts in one of the new zones and teams up with Estinien (you insist of spelling his name wrong, right?), who technically bears a trace of her brothers soul. Other than that... ah well, enjoy the lul :) Finish savage, hopefully you finished the Omega raids (otherwise the first part of my comment was spoiler ^^°) and all the others. You can start leveling all your battle jobs and get rewarded with your very own Seto, do 60 FATEs in all Shadowbringer zones and get a Seto minion... or just focus down raiding, its all up to you and what you enjoy :)

I'm not sure if people have noticed. But each time they showed a Scion that's also an Archon (Thancred, Urianger, Graha and Y'shtola) -- they angle the shot specifically to show their Archon mark. Makes sense of course, given Sharlayan will play a big role from here on. For those that don't know, an Archon is basically the equivalent of a doctorate degree and is a title given by Old Sharlayan.

Curiously... G'Raha and Y'shtola have 2 marks, while Thancred and Urianger have 1. I wonder if that means they have like... double doctorates or something.

@@Krescentwolf Possible. Both of them are the studious types. G'raha in Archaelogy and maybe Allagan History. Y'shtola in multiple Arcane Arts, most likely Aetherology as well given her mentor, Master Matoya.

Y'shtola's Archon mark is also slightly covered in her reveal. Maybe to show her denouncement of Sharlyan. Or maybe its just coincidence, I may be looking into too deeply. xD

@@Shiirow maybe he k own the WoL will win and the end won't happen, like the Soothsayer from that one episode of Avatar the Legend of Aang who insisted the volcano wouldn't destroy their village, and so the villagers sat back and did nothing about so Aang and company have to deal with it. Afterwards the Soothsayer says she was right, because they didn't get destroyed

@@Alninio I think he purposely disowns them so Sharlyan brass will stop questioning the dad about their whereabouts. I also think he has to cut their ties to Sharlayan so they are free to do as they please.

@@mikechua4893 There is no 'brass' in Sharlayan. It's a full Democracy like ancient Athens. Every citizen votes for the Forum that represents them, and all members of said Forum are equal members.

I know it's because people get hyped, but everytime someone reacts to this they miss Estinien saying Vritra because they're talking over him lol.

People also don't realize that the monster that the WoL kills on the moon is from the Amaurot dungeon which was the first boss we faced called The First Beast. Kinda makes sense that he makes short work of it after having faced one already.

Some people just don't know who vritra is even after completing the whole game so they don't understand it's the name of the dragon. Been playing for 4 years and I didn't understand what he said at first so i didn't really pay much attention to it, thought it was some other words

Idk if this was mentioned in the stream after this but one detail that is often missed is that the large creature attacking the WoL at the end (alteast in appearance) seems to be one of the Dooms you fight in the Amerot Dungeon that were a precursor to the end of days (it is the very first boss of that dungeon). Pretty interesting, eh? Very excited to see what Endwalker is gonna be like!

The creatures that Alisaie fights is also a Terminus creature. I think it's the Terminus Stalker

Vritra is one of the previously 2 un-named great wyrms from Midgardsormr's First Brood. Bahamut, Tiamat, Hraesvelgr, Nidhogg, Ratatoskr, Azdaja and Vritra.

It's crazy, I remember seeing your first reaction video to FanFest show up in my recommendations and now you're watching the Endwalker trailer! Congrats dude! Loving the content so far

I love watching you such joy, its like the morning dew from a hell flower once every thousand years.

It's so great that ya waited to watch this. It just doesn't hit as hard as after beating shadowbringers :D.

One of those tentacled monsters from the Heavensward part of the trailer appeared in Amaurot just before the last boss, Therion, and the monster from the last bit with the Warrior of Light, was the First Doom from the same dungeon.

I watched this trailer so many times that I noticed that Y'shtola walking away from the desk that the twin's dad is at (5:31) makes no sense considering the layout of the room (5:06). I only realized because the scene is so cool lol

Sometimes the game makes it seem like Y'shtola really isn't blind but then she walks directly away from Fourchenault into the opposite benches and I go "ah there it is"

shes not really blind, she has vision like Daredevil, she uses her own aether and the ambient aether as a sort of sonar to detect things. matoya even commented on it that if she continued doing so, it would shorten her life.

Assuming we can trust what the Word of the Mother said in Heavensward, there be a good chance we find Zodiark on the moon. Here's hoping for a fight on the moon between Zenos merged with Zodiark and Us either empowered or merged with Hydaelyn.

@@HitodamaKyrie It does but with the information we have been given over time suggests it, but again it is reliant on what we were told being the complete truth. Venat having a role is guaranteed as they sacrificed themselves to become Hydaelyns heart just like Elidibus did for Zodiark, the Woman we saw at the very end of Shadowbringers is most likely Venat before she became the heart.

Funny thing is, that's what Zenos wants. One final climactic duel between him and us, with him having absorbed Zodark's power, and us with Hydaleyn. ...but I almost feel like that's not what will end up happening. *_SPOILERS BELOW, READ AT OWN PERIL_* Remember, Azem never sided with either camp when both elder Primals were summoned. He always sought help from his friends to quell what issues may arise, so it's very likely that - while I feel that Zenos and even Hydaleyn herself would practically beg for us to fight on Zenos' terms - we, as the Warrior of Light, would outright *reject* that power, simply using the power we hold as Azem to call upon various "shards of ourselves" (destroyed or otherwise...AKA 7 other PCs) to simply show Zenos what we are capable of...both as an Ascian together *and* as ourselves individually.

@@SlvrStryker Is definitely a possibility but at the same time we have been benefitting from her power and while we are Azem we are only a portion of them and thus what we may end up doing might not be what Azem would do, I think we might accept Hydaelyns power as a last resort or maybe even purposely to save our friends. I do wonder if because Hydaelyn was brought into being to keep Zodiark in check, if we were to destroy Zodiark then could that cause problems as the balance would be upset. The shards direction is interesting, it'll all come down to how souls and rejoinings work which is kind of up in the air at the moment, I remember when Emet-Selch said "hero of the Source; seven times rejoined" (or something to that effect I'd have to go look at it again to refresh my memory), did he mean the source or did he mean us specifically.

If only the graphics and the "feel" of it in trailer looked a tiny bit close to what it actually looks in the game. Watching the trailer VS Reality. Expectation vs Reality. You expect next-gen graphics and high quality gameplay VS Reality where you get Playstation 2 graphics and gameplay. You expect awesome futuristic combat VS Reality where you get FF12 combat. Yes also a Playstation 2 game.

​@@ninjafoxgamesgeekery What are you on about? Every second of my 100 hours that i spent on FF14 was a misery. It was torture.. But i still played the game to "give it a chance" despite me getting bored to death. Why the hell would i "clear" ANY raids.

@@serkiznatz If "every second was misery" I can't imagine what type of games you actually enjoy. /shrug As soon as the opening cutscene began, you were miserable? Doing jumping puzzles in the Saucer? Miserable? Mini games? Miserable? Combat - I have no idea what you played or if you did your rotation or minimal effort, but... miserable? Gathering/Crafting that isn't just "click a button"? Miserable Yeah, sure. The most torturous game ever made....right. Do you play MMOs? JRPGs? Or was this your first time trying either genre? Or were you expecting Devil May Cry action combat in an MMO? Which isn't even possible because of the nature of lag, but some think it should be done anyway...

Because of it i often don't even need more than 1h to notice if the game will be bad or not. I got dissapointed in the Character creation of FF14 and thought the voiceless, slow intro to be disgusting but i still gave the game 100+hours to challenge the hype. By this time i had already gathered enough experience to know how the rest of the game is gonna play out. No Thanks. Let me see.. without being biased. I'm gonna remove any "feelings" i felt playing an MMO. WoW was genuenily good up to Lich King, everything after that was bad. Games Currently that are "better" than FF14 without adding personal "feelings" is GW2, BDO, Bless Unleashed (yes i'm serious) and TERA. These games imo are all better than FF14 in terms of Combat, Graphics, Questing and Fluency. Only MMO i play currently is Bless Unleashed from time to time atm because it's new but personally if someone forced me to play ONLY MMO's everyday i'd most likely choose GW2 or BDO because they have more overall quality in most aspects of the game.
