i can see it... Tidus... Jecht... Yuna... and even you, that were that able and that strong to play the game till the end. im with you. if i ever met you, i would give you a hug for conforting you in front of those feelings. trust me. i understand such emotion. i mean, basing to other final fantasy games or other rpgs and their own emotional ost and scenes...😢😔

Easier viewing would be if you didn't keep editing the scenes, skipping things, and just putting in the "key moments" When the full thing flows together it's far more beautiful than seeing a bunch of timestamped scenes slapped together

I'm on some harsh anti depressants and it flattens my mood. It's hard for me to cry. But I still feel catharsis when someone else cries. So I enjoy looking up these reaction vids. It's almost therapeutic for me.

This game actually changed my life and made me want to be a better person! It’s such a beautiful and heartbreaking story, and it’s something that sticks with you forever… ❤️

I absolutely fell in love with this game when I first played it as a kid and this ending had a lasting impact on me. I cried my heart out so much as well.

I first played this game when I was 12, I ugly cried then. I'm 32 now, I still tear up at this and I'm this big ol' Texan with a beard. Movies can't make me cry, but damnit this game does! My wife is about to play it for the first time soon and I can't wait to experience watching her see this ending...

I married my wife in 2005. She was a gamer girl, but never played an RPG. This was the first game I had her play. It was an amazing experience. The music still puts a smile on our faces.

Seeing the fear/sadness in tidus face when he sprints for the edge to jump off gets me every time

When you realize your emotion to Yuna 20 years ago is still stronger than your feelings towards your work colleagues lol.

Hearing To Zanarkand and Hymn of the Fayth live at Distant Worlds was one of the best experiences I have ever had in my life. I legit cried like a little baby. Please go to a Final Fantasy Concert if there ever is a chance. You won't regret it.

This was one of the first games I ever completed as a tween. I absolutely fell in love with the characters and the story. I remember watching the ending scene on my little 14" TV and just not believing the game ended and just sobbing. I'll love this game forever 💕

It's been 21 years since I first played this and without fail this ending always makes me cry.

I actually just started to replay this game After like what 20+ years. Crazy how emotional this ending still gets to you. Even though the whole thing is sad the part that always hits me the hardest is when Yuna stars to whistle over and over again even though you're gone.

This is the most emotional game of all time because ffx tells the ultimate story of humanity of loss and acceptance. Its the story of all living things

"You'll cry. You're gonna cry. You always cry. See? You're crying." Yes, every time I see the ending or hear the theme.

to this day i believe its the most sad story in video gaming. many games have dramatic scenes but the build up that this game has makes it so crushing. was the first time in my life i nearly had a breakdown as a 18yo male back in 2001. i play this game every few years again and even though i know what happens it doesnt stop hurting. some parts like yuna´s recording hurt even more when you already know whats bout to come. so dont feel bad you cant hold it in. there is no other media that made me cry this hard and often like ffx.

It's okay to cry. I think many of us cried at the end. I, like many, loved these characters. It was sad to see the journey end.

I just finished this game right now. No words can describe how great this game is and stories. Cheers

What hit me the most was when Yuna ran to Tidus to hug him but she just went through him instead 😭

I'm not an emotional person, but I found the chain of events at the end of FF10 was hard for me to accept, but there were no other choices. Such a beautiful game.

Rumour has it that the tears from this game are still running the machina that is square Enix to this very day

I know many played this game as a kid. I was already a young adult when it came out (now I am a middle-aged adult lol).. and I still love the story and the turn of events. And especially I appreciate a bitter-sweet ending.

This game is one of the best of all time. I was playing this game every year since 2004 and I'm still crying like a baby every time. I love this game deeply

The comment of yours at the end prompted some introspection on my part: "How do you finish this game?" As someone who first played FFX at the age of 11 it left such an impression on me that I have never felt truly finished with this game. The struggles it depicts taught me life lessons on the values of vulnerability, selflessness, empathy, all of which acquiesce into a feeling of true understanding of what it means to have a person you care for struggle and being there for them on their terms. As Yuna says towards the end, it's not just Tidus' story. Now at the age of 31, this game has echoed throughout my life, I've felt its resonance sat behind my conscious self informing my own character, and I periodically find myself going back to it. Perhaps to orientate myself at times where I feel lost, to rediscover a most formative conscious awakening it prompted, mere nostalgia, or a combination thereof I'm not sure. What I can tell is that this game, the story it tells, the characters I met, and the hopes, dreams, and relationships they shared will always be dearest to me. I will never forget them.

I first played this game when it came out in December 2001. I just watched your reaction and it made me cry all over again. Every single time I watch this ending, same thing. Stands the test of time.

I played the theme "To Zanarkand" on guitar to get into a music university way back in 2009. And unforgettable game.

Auron was such a beast! He was easily my favorite character the first time I played the game.

Getting flashbacks to 2002, when I was tearing up myself. 😭

I know that as soon you realize what you did to Jecht, the tear duct has opened :). This ending sequences was (and still is) one of most emotional ending of all time for me. The VERY LEAST i've seen people react to this, is looking in disbelief and looked internally hurt. Most of em lost it at the ending, too. Square really pulled it in this one

As a 33 year old man, it still hit me so hard hearing you ask if they arent coming back... good game suna glad to have been able to watch this

It also hurts on the Magus Sisters because you can hear the pain when they get attacked. Also Valefor is my favorite Aeon and I always save her for last because I use her to fight the others. Also this ending of the game is the only ending I have ever cried on.

I know Yuna and Tidus' story is sad, but y'all see Wakka? He lost a second brother.

Seeing him so sad right before he jumps is always the saddest part to me. He grew so close to Tidus and had no idea what was going on until the end. Poor guy.

This game was the first game to ever make me emotional and cry. Prior to this my experience with video games were games like super Mario and other platformers and light hearted games that I enjoyed and loved but I didn't have any kind of emotional attachment to. Seeing the ending after all the hours I put into this game had me in tears and made me appreciate video games on a whole new level. It's still my favorite game of all time, even though it breaks my heart seeing the ending every time.

I remember how I PLAYTHROUGH this game. But of course I didn't cry like that :) The girl who recorded this video, I want to tell you that you are wonderful. I'm sure you have a big and kind heart. You must have fallen in love with this game like me. I would love to play this game with you if we could!

OMG how beautiful , i'm playing through it at the moment & i'm dreading the end now 😢

This game came out a couple of months before my mom died. I've always associated the theme of this song with her death. Now that my dad is gone, too, that scene where his dad is dying in his arms and also where he jumps from the ship and high-fives him REALLY hits differently. My dad was my main man. I should dust this game off for a play through to remember the people who brought me into this world.

The thing most first players don't catch onto and it hits me everytime, is her whistling at the end. Tidus had said "Whistle and i'll come running" and she wants him there. Breaks me everytime.

I like the jecht fight it's so awesome along with the music lmao and yeah the part where yuna goes through tidus gets me everytime as well

It's hard to explain why I get such joys out of reactions like these. I guess I just enjoy seeing people get real, emotional reactions from one of my all-time favorites. Also, I'm glad you acknowledged Yuna whistling during that final cutscene. A lot of reactions I've watched don't seem to pay it much mind. But she's calling out to Tidus in the best way she knows how (especially since he's technically unnamed). It's very sweet, and very sad.

Agree. Man when i first played this game i didnt like it at all. But when i got into it for real i couldnt stop playing. Could play 12houers every single day. Had a file with 600houer playtime. Crazy Good game,

I was not expecting the final boss fight would play out with killing all your aeons. This was the hardest fight in my childhood back when it first came out, cause I figured out you can craft an armor that has triple ap gain, triple overdrive gain, and overdrive to ap gain meaning I could switch my overdrive meter to healer, spam potions/cure and gain literally millions of ap in a single battle at the monster arena. So being op such that even Lulu’s base moogle attack could do 5 9’s worth of damage on any boss led to the hardest fight when I had to take on my aeons. Thank goodness for auto-life or I never would have beaten the game.

Big daddy Jekkt's ost is one of the best boss tracks in video game history! Its been 22 years and this damn ending still hurts as much as the first time 😭

Growing up in the rural South, I always had this idea that you had to man up and not cry... then I played this game. Sobbed like a baby. 20 years later, still cry when I think about the ending.

It's an emotional roller-coaster...

Sending you a virtual hug, the death of aeons killed me too. I think I cried just as hard as I did during Tidus and Yuna's farewell... edit to my original comment, I think your reaction breaks my heart the most for the aeons. I also noticed the level of HP they all have compared to mine... Yours are easy... mine are going to definitely put up a fight, they all have HP break so I am not looking forward to that!! I am so glad the players get auto-life at the end.

This was the game that got me into the ff series back on the ps2 and has remained my favorite of the series. Play x-2 100% (I recommend a guide) for the true ending. I think you'll be more than happy with it

FF IX was the first game I every streamed, I played ti for first time live I do have videos of it but I was a new streamer and it shows. Not sure if video would be good of it. Its my favorite game tho too!

This game is an absolute masterpiece, a true classic. Hope you can play FFX-2, the story and gameplay is not as good, but the ending make it worth playing, just make sure you follow the steps to get the good ending.

In the original Japanese Yuna didn't say "I love you". She said "Arigato". It had even more meaning.

This ending still gets me sniffles. The music, yuna’s quiet desperation to hold on and tidus giving her a last embrace before letting go. Great storyline. This is what propelled me to play X-2 and get the 100% ending.
