@@VolkColopatrion PS4 is a california console either way now since Playstation moved HQ from Japan to California, introduced censorship laws. All the reason why i sold it and plan to either get a Xbox or Nintendo. Not sure yet. But yeah. PS1 and PS2 is all good for me.

Oh me? I did this even on the "Remaster" Without Triple speed. So it's fine. Though uhh. I do use Triple speed in a lot of places. Expecially combining that with Conversation speed so I can speed through it. Though some scenes the speed is normal.

What I see as the most interesting aspect of this translation is completely overlooked in these comment “discussions”. Translating any form of video, artwork, literature comes with a very dangerous rule- *it requires the same level of thought and attention that was given to the original work* . If it isn’t respected, the end result will suffer greatly. Even when it is respected the end result can be greatly different. This rule isn’t just dangerous it’s practically sinister; it’s almost impossible to follow in some cases, yet you can’t ignore it. Look up “Warriors of the Wind” to see how bad it can get. The emotional effects of delivery and nuance are often lost when translated- and it’s often left to the creativity of someone other than the author to find it in a different language. What makes translations for popular media truly excruciating is the commercial side of it. Not only are you trying re-capture that original feeling with a different language, you also have to do it in a way that is appealing/marketable to a new audience within a vastly different culture. When all these problems are combined, which they often are, the prospects of a genuine translation are more than out the window. So the writers, as skilled as they are, are left with their own devices; thats why it’s common to see stuff like this.

I looked it up in a Japanese LP, was curious about this too. She says ちょっと！エンギでもないこと言わないの! ; I'd say in context it means something like 'Whoa/Enough! Don't say that, or you'll jinx us!" ; "Stop tempting fate!" would be good too I guess. (probably it's related to 縁起の悪い - ill-omened/ominous)
