@@SliderFury1 No he's not, you just don't understand what Sephiroth is doing in this game. These games are a SEQUEL to the original FF7. This Sephiroth is the Advent Children Sephiroth who knows how this story plays out for himself, so he's trying to change it. It's why he did everything he could to get Cloud and Co. to fight and defeat the whispers (who were trying to keep the original timeline intact)

I'm actually turned off by all the minigames and goofy stuff. I was expecting ff7 to be more serious and focused with it's story. Also I'm aware that the original ff7 is being split Into 3 games for the remakes, which sounds like money grubbing if you ask me. It also seems like they just Inflated all that extra unnecessary game time with mini games. Wouldn't be surprised if the original has a much more focused and better executed story. Unfortunately it is dated as all hell and old games don't hold enough charm for me to put up with their shit unless I love the series they're a part of (like the DrakenNieR series, I'll put up with shit like NieR gestalt and drakengard 1 because I love the series so much). Just seems like way too much bloat and goofiness for me.

The reason they had like 3 games is cuz they want to cram in all the story from the other games and make it the complete series so you don't have to play the other 20 sides old games/movie/anime. You don't have to play the crisis core(Zack in this game), dirge of Cerberus (Vincent in this game), anime/movie(it's in the Nibleheim part) the dead online game (child sephiroth yup), racing/sports games(it's in there) its a pretty good bargain playing only 3 game for ff7 experience 🤣. Just No SNOWBOARDING 🤣. Maybe they wanna remake that for part 3.

the dolphin, the mini games and so on (all the "bloat") are in the original. they just made the mini games actually good in this game. the mini games in the og were actually p lame

Especially original FF7. imo it’s nice to have a fantasy game that both takes itself seriously and doesn’t take itself too seriously at the same time. And the mini games for me are a nice change of pace from the action, having it spliced here and there, but I understand that not being your thing

The way Cloud lurches his head forwards to take a bite of the sandwich is super unnerving to me.

I've never played Yakuza 7 but this dunkey video inspired me to try it out, thank you for making great games dunkey.

That's gonna be the biggest twist of all at the end of the third part (Reunion? Ressurection? Something with re), when Sephiroth turns out actually be frogs all along.

when dunkey started to play final fantasy 7 part 1, segment 2, the snowboard edition, rebirth, remade, remaster, console port edition, digital edition, directors cut, exclusive edition the game is started to cry in tears cause sephiroth said its gaming time and everyone started gaming everywhere 😞

They make several frog references. The quest says frogs. Dialogue says frogs. Actual status is toad. 0/10 worst game ever

@@caseyhastings9219 Hilariously it was reported that Nomura wanted a more faithful remake (with some changes) and some meta references, but the other two directors and old writers of the OG wanted more zaniness. Nomura is the sanest of the writers on this project, which means ... I'm going to grab some popcorn.
