Fun fact is during NHK Final Fantasy poll back in 2020, Uematsu Nobuo said "Battle on the Big Bridge", was a *filler song* and he had no fond memories when composing it. But he didn't expect it becomes one of his most popular tracks and most requested song in the project he was in such orchestra, brass and even his band.

This fight with this music is one of the best rewards ever for a long side quest.

​@@charcharmunr Type-0's is either Gilgamesh at the end of his journey, or a completely different one. He's King after all, but it's impossible to tell for sure since he's an Amnesiac in that game, and has the same obsession with weapons as he normally does in his 8 Armed Fights.

I legit flipped out when this song started playing during this fight. It’s easily one of my favorite tracks of FF in general. So the fact it got a remade makes me so happy. 100 / 10 best song in the game.

nah, he has the power to do so at will, in FFXIV he dragged himself and a few others across the interdimensional rift and then left to who knows where due to settle a score with someone, before that happened he did moonlighted as yojimbo for a pair of battles before revealing it was him!

i love how underneath the normal greg boss theme you can hear the let the battles begin theme. and it meshes perfectly.

I was under leveled and on the hardest difficulty when I fought him. Legit one of the fun fights of the game. I had 14 HP left when I delivered the final blow 🤣 I was about to yell if I lost after fighting for almost 20 mins.

Just took him on last night. Long battle but first tried. The trials were more tricky but they helped set up my items and inventory to take the fight on. It wasnt easy

This has always been my favorite Final Fantasy theme and this is another great remix of it.

The battle with Gilgamesh is probably one of my favorite fights in Rebirth. This version of his theme is amazing!

Wasn’t until halfway through the second fight with him that I realized this was the theme, and I was so psyched up!

Simple is sometimes best when it comes to remixes and this is easily in the top 3 remixes of this theme for me

This is epic !

The best fight in the game this far. I have yet to finish it, but I’m glad I did this fight before I did. He bested me once, and I’m glad he did. It gave me the opportunity to listen to this amazing track longer

If SE did so much for Gilgamesh and the protorelics.... I think i know what we might do for part 3, they Hype i got now for the KOTR is gonna be epic

When the game director tells you to make the theme more metal, but the only version you ever heard was from The Black Mages.

The battle theme was almost worth the absolute metric fuckton of mini-games. Almost. ...nah it was worth it.

It was 3am while I was doing this fight and was so hyped and had so much joy to scream but couldn’t lol

The game actually doesn’t let you, even if you restart the chapter. You would have to backup a save or delete all your data
