I think it's cool that you two are playing different versions of this game. I only played one version so it'll be nice to hear about the differences throughout this season.
The boys are Busting Scenarios once again! I don't have a history with this series so I'll probably just be a quiet listener this season. I will try to catch the streams when I see em though!
Playing this for the first time myself! Awesome you guys are enjoying it. I managed to die in the tutorial too haha didn’t know I could have other people besides Ramza. Tutorials helped :)
poor Eric! I feel for him learning all the SRPG mechanic tropes. I feel like when I was younger I just kinda powered through games, whereas I'm now likely to quit something I find frustrating much sooner
I've absolutely done the whole "Hit your team to get exp/JP" tactic. It's hilarious how everyone learned this for themselves. I've always left one or two enemies down to critical as they run away so we can hit each other. Imagine the enemies POV on that.
Hi guys. I bought the guidebook to the war of the lions version and in it there is a half page 'glossary of terms' explaining some of the old words used in the world of Ivalice, from *Anon* _(A term from Middle English that means 'immediately)_ to *Weald* _(An antiquated term used to refer to very large, very old forests)._ As I am a massive fan of Vagrant story I combined these with a bunch of terms I had collected from that game also (with a few bonus ones thrown in from other games) to create a Valendian Dictionary and Encyclopaedia. Another thing I've done as a big fan of Vagrant Story was to write a script for Mike from Resonant Arc to make a VS tutorial video when they covered that game. If you go to Resonant Arc's - _Vagrant Story | 10 Tips To Get Started_ video and go to the pinned comment there is a link to the google doc of my old english dictionary if you want to try using it as a resource. You could of course also use the video itself as a resource to help cover Vagrant Story sometime...
