Ashley and Ashlyn are the typical popular girls in high school who can be vapid and vain, but have some good inside them, albeit misguided at times. They actually invited Wendy to go to the salon with them which I thought was sweet. Source: I knew a girl like this in high school. Nowhere close to the same social circle (she was popular, I was the band geek), but whenever we interacted, she was always kind to me.

I knew a similar girl before I came out as trans. When I was in secondary (high) school, I was in a lot of classes with this typical popular girl. She was probably one of the only girls nice to me out of the entire year. She even had the guts to stand up for me when I got bullied, which was common. (Being openly queer at an all girls school in England is like swimming with an open wound in a tank of starved piranha. You’re fucked)

Me and my bestfriend and some other old friends now that older I find it ridiculous but we were the popular girls in high school. And like we were super big extroverts we would talk to anybody and whenever we would have someone who was a loner or anti social come sit with us for lunch they’d be very shocked or nervous if we would be mean to them. I remember one guy he would always be nervous saying hi. I never understood why popular girls or popular people would be mean like it’ll just lead to a ass whopping

@@moisemensah8233 same here !! And if bullying did happen. I remember there was this girl who always picked on this one chick for being short and she would slam books out of her hand. I was quite popular back in high school but I would talk to anyone because I went through bullying myself back in elementary but when I started middle school I became more social, became somewhat of a ladies man, and became popular when I ate up a popular kid in a fight but no matter my status I never forgot my beginnings and even became friends with many outcasts, emos, anime fans, nerds, and this was the early 2010s dubsteppers

Fr. They were kind of an expectation subversion of the “Hottie clique girls” in so many movies. Often those girls were also bitches in movies (and real life tbh) but here, they’re just slightly ditzy but genuinely kind people. It fucking sucked how they got possibly the cruelest deaths in the movie.
@hiphipjorge5755

@@dancingcarapace I always thought the same thing, most of the others were almost instant deaths, but the girls really suffered. FD3 does a good job of humanizing the main characters, whereas for example #4 is full of cartoonish characters you have a hard time sympathizing with. #1 and #2 are well-written plotwise, and #5 has some interesting writing that makes it stomachable, but #3 didn't necessarily have good writing, its characters made it good and made you interested.

The tanning bed to me is the absolute most terrifying death out of the whole franchise
The scary thing about this series is the fact that it shows what happens if you don’t trust a gut feeling, even if nothing truly comes of it. My mom has always told me to trust my gut, and it’s actually saved me and a few people around me. After I turned 17, I was driving to work one morning and came up on a blind curve, I’ve driven the same route every day to get to school, work, etc. so I could’ve driven the entire route blind if I wanted to, but coming up on that curve I got a horrible, nasty feeling, I got chills and a flash of deja vu, I was going pretty fast, again cause I knew the road and could take it fast, but I slowed my car way down to a crawl before I approached the curve, as I got slowed down enough, another car came barreling down the road at a top speed, it’s entire front was in my side of the road and could’ve taken one or both of us out if I hadn’t slowed down. Another instance was when I had a terrible dream and called my mom to check on our grandpa, her dad, and when she did, she found he had gotten sick and needed to go to the hospital. Always trust your gut even if you think it could be nothing.

Same thing happened to me when I was 17, got into a bad accident taking a detour, due to bad weather and traffic and I have gone thru that hard right turn a million times, but I got a bad feeling and took the turn too quickly and my Ford Explorer missed one car on the turn but hydroplaned and smashed into an F-150. Thankfully, I escaped with shock and minor injuries but it was weird because I missed my friends and went into the wrong movie, I was supposed to see Disturbing Behavior 1998 with my friend but ended up late and sold out and I went to see There's Something About Mary 1998 instead. I hit my head on the steering wheel, despite being safety belted in and suffered a mild black out and I was listening to 1982 Toto's Rosanna. Spooky, the car saved me even if it hurt me.

Being an ex ride operator I would like to say, something like this happening on a roller coaster isn’t just improbable, it’s IMPOSSIBLE.
@kath9088
Жыл бұрын
Out of interest, how so? (Not arguing at all, I have very little understanding of how rides work etc. and would love to hear from someone who does!)
@markonarco4007
11 ай бұрын
@@kath9088 this feels kinda passive aggressive, but I’ll answer. Part 1: The restraints. So the simple answer for this is any restraint type requires a specific key or power pack in order to open on their own. Otherwise they remain locked. The reason they went open in the scene was because there was apparently external hydraulic parts, but no roller coaster or ride that I can possibly think of has this kind of setup. And all restraint related injuries/deaths in the past have been related to letting someone who doesn’t fit onto the ride (amputees, obese) that kind of thing. Also, track pieces do not bend like that, they’re made of steel, not aluminum. Another issue is the the coaster completely coming off the track. With multiple sets of upstop wheels and side wheels it’s not possible for them all to just fall apart like that. Every ride gets inspection every single morning and operators pay very close attention to noises and behaviors that may not be normal. One time I E-stopped a ride because of a super minor noise that I haven’t heard from the ride before. We have to be that cautions. One other thing, rides have hundreds of thousands of sensors for different things on them, and roller coasters typically have points that have brakes on them. The worst roller coaster accident I can possibly think of doesn’t even come close to this. Not by a long shot. Rides don’t just fall apart like legos.

I’m not photosensitive but I found it really nice that you put in a little extra work to subtly help those people out. Your pretty cool for doing that!
This is the fourth or fifth video I have see of yours with a light flashing warning and now that I realize that you do that I want to say THANK YOU. I am not sensitive to flashing lights, but I know someone who is and who's an artist that once created a beautiful work of art that they couldn't look at because the piece they wanted to create required there be flashing lights hence making it impossible for them to see their own creation. It was suck a magnificent creation that saddened me to know the artist themselves could not appreciate their own work because of the flashing lights 🥺. Now I always think of this artist and anyone else like them ANYTIME flashing lights happen and you taking them into consideration here just ..... really touches my heart man 😭. Keep up the good work and keep showing that big awesome heart of yours. That's why I keep coming back here 😭🥺❣️

How Ian McKinley wound back at the top of the list, Because the fireworks were supposed to kill Wendy and The McKinley hint was where she was going to die, and remember the wood spikes would fall on him so the something would fall on him, which was the sign.
Great kill count, and side note really liked the use of a tone to indicate the photosensitive sequences. Not photosensitive myself, but I can imagine it's a nice way to skip the photosensitive stuff without having to track a timestamp, set a timer, or having another call-out later down the line. Apparently, in the novelization of this movie, there's an explanation for Ian's place in death's timeline. In the novel, it states that though Ian and Erin fell out of the car together, Erin died on impact with the ground, while Ian survived for a few moments longer, dying of blood loss after Perry hit the ground nearby. Also, there are original final destination novels which are some wild shit.

This may be a so-so movie but I’m really in love with how safe and organized they were. Like at 14:11. Two men armed with the door to the tanning bed and another armed with a fire extinguisher. You hear her yell ‘hot’ and they all repeat ‘Hot!’ and immediately know what to do. Open the bed, put her out, stay calm, don’t panic and block one another and listen for the code word, ready to act immediately. That’s excellent communication for safety. (I used to be in technical theater in high school. You always have to be organized with caution above all else. Act with minimal amount of code words. Short code words that can be yelled fast in scary situations to tell those around you everything you need to know about what’s happening/what your sudden jump to action means and lets others start to formulate how to help)
