I dont like their defense, Boring Realtalk

The tip that my teacher taught me when I was in senior high school is that when proposing or presenting a research project, thesis or case study, you shouldn't be the one that will be nervous, it should be the judges or the audience. Because during your presentation, you are the person or group of people that holds the most information about the topic you are presenting. The judges and audience on the other hand have less idea of what you are presenting, that is why they need you to provide them with information so that they can understand whay you want to propose.

effective thinking👌 that is if you're well versed or at least good at english if that's the language ur teacher decided to use at ang understanding mo sa research will surely boost that confidence so the problem is naintindihan ba? kabisado ba? like the way pauwi to your house. Im not arguing with you if anything Im agreeing but this advice might not be so helpful for those who lack knowledge or has low understanding of things like Me lol I got over confident sa research namin and I remember how that uno reverse happened. It feels like cold ice nong gumamit si Ma'am ng difficult words to ask me eh🤦🏽‍♀️

Research defense is my nightmare. I could write and write with no problems but gets speechless when talking. I simply cannot speak out my thoughts into actual words. All eyes are on you, the room filled with silence, intimidation starts to creep in and all ideas are lost and you find yourself shaking with a trembling voice, all of your confidence gone. Speaking is not my forte and I am finding ways on how I could overcome this.

i remember that time we had our thesis defense. i was the leader of the research group, and right before we presented, i drank a half bottle of sangria. needless to say, i was tipsy when we defended our research. my confidence level that time skyrocketed, though, and i answered all the questions of the panel with ease. no one (except for my groupmates) knew that i drank alcohol prior to the defense. in the end, we won the best research study, and surprisingly, i was awarded as the best presenter, all while i was intoxicated ooooffff p.s. i ain't saying that y'all should also do the same, though. there are schools that are really strict when it comes to alcohol intake in the campus, so y'all better think twice before doing something like what i did haha

It’s easier than what you all expect! Basta alam niyong kayo ang gumawa ng papel niyo (at hindi kayo pabigat kay leader) malamang sa malamang masasagot niyo kung ano man itanong sa inyo ng panelist. Also, confidence and halong “diskarte” is the key to a successful defense. Good luck!

Gumaling lang ako magpresentation nung nagwowork na ako. Para sa mga mag-thesis defense pa lang, here are my tips: 1. Have mastery hanggang sa point na naexcite ka na e-share nalalaman mo. With mastery, comes confidence. 2. Have confidence, not arrogance. Magkaiba yun. Don’t be intimidated by the judges. You know the topic more than them. 3. Have an outline para di ka lost. Make sure na okay ang flow / how you put into words your ideas and thoughts 4. Make the words used consistent. 5. If problem mo yung grammar and being unable to speak in English... hindi ito instant. Practice lang talaga. Paano? Yung thought process mo, change it to English. 6. Lastly, if you make a mistake or fail, don’t let it affect your stage presence. Don’t be so downcast. Makikita yan ng judges pag bigla ka naintimidate. Making mistakes is part of life... so learn from it and just move on to the next challenge🙂 - i’m 27, turning 28 soon. I probably would've been shaken to the core if I happen to be one of these people. Truly it takes more than confidence and high levels of self-esteem to get through such high leaps of challenges that come our way. This is all part of the journey, I must say. I feel as though I'm not totally cut out for this. Even my brain short circuits in the worst possible timing you could ever imagine. But my congratulations to them. They've done well.

Wow impressive, I like how you giys explain every thesis you've made and the information you've research is really accurate.

Just had mine today, had been never about this my whole high school life but when u actually do it it’s not that bad.

All of them cooperative to each other.. WHICH IS A GREAT JOB!!

One of the proper way of answering the questions of the panelist is by supporting you answer with RRL because it gives credibility and it will solidify your ideas as well.

I watched this defense 2 yrs ago when i was on my 10th grade,,, now that I am a graduating senior high student, I'm watching it again. Tho before i was not that nervous because i have my groupmates, but now I am goin solo,,, I hope i can graduate 😫

Wow! Just wow! Please bring me back to those days when we can have a longer time to explain our hard-earned study. We're going to have a research defense tomorrow, and 7 MINUTES is the time allotment for that! I can just imagine the cramming I'm going to experience

We cannot avoid ourselves to laugh when your classmates teasing you while you are presenting your research. I can feel their nervousness.. Like omgghggg my hands are sweating.

In college, this kind of final defense setting is not at all the same... I wish you all the best when you take your own final defense!

The tip that my teacher taught me when I was in senior high school is that when proposing or presenting a research project, thesis or case study, you shouldn't be the one that will be nervous, it should be the judges or the audience. Because during your presentation, you are the person or group of people that holds the most information about the topic you are presenting. The judges and audience on the other hand have less idea of what you are presenting, that is why they need you to provide them with information so that they can understand whay you want to propose. 4.4K 2

good for you guys that you experience this kind of challenges during your high school and senior high school year. I am already now in my 1st year in college yet i didn't even experience this kind of presentation because of the lockdown. Now I am very scared and anxious what the future holds for me

As an Introvert this is one my nightmare

When thinking abt our upcoming thesis defense next month, i realize it's much more easier to do it in f2f classes, like this one. Iba talaga pag personal and may eye to eye contact kayo. Sa online kasi isa-isa kayong tinatawag tapos open cam pa so sayo talaga nakafocus lahat omaygad mas tumitindi pa nmn insecurities ko in front of cameras

During my thesis defense, I was confident on every word I was saying but to be honest... My professors bombarded me with questions but with my confidence level, I also gave them tons of information to be absorbed. In the end, they only concluded I should revise the test questionnaire I made. Hehehe #READINGCOMPREHENSION Meanwhile, in college, I have no will to work. Lol

Buti pa kayo by group. Ako solo lang. Mag susubmit palang ako ng Research Proposal at gagawa pa ako ng Business Plan.

Way back in my college life. Buti mag isa lang prof. Nila dyan, yung amin, pati dean namin nag bigay ng grades. Tas kahiy nka aircon basang basa ka ng pawis sa kaba😂 buti nairaos namin thesis namin.
