I have no idea who these bears are or what their deal is but that was the most heart-warming, inexplicable outpouring of affection towards singing, dancing animatronics I have ever seen in my life. Sorry for your loss.

Theres always something bittersweet about letting something like this go. The attractions were never intended to run as long as they now did, but having them on for so long without major changes makes them very nostalgic for many generations.

Such amazing video coverage, I’m so glad you were there for this! The Country Bears are a big comfort for me, they got me through some really tough family events that happened in my life when I was 14, and seeing them be changed is really hard for me but seeing this gathering of fans who know their lore like I do is beautiful, when I was younger no one cared about them and you couldn’t find barely any information or merch of them on the internet, never mind a fandom with fanart, cosplay, plush, etc. the Big Al Furby and Grizzly Hall shirt made me so happy. Everyone singing the songs and dialogue was so great. Henry and Liver Lips decided they wouldn’t go out without protest, I guess.

This was the first I heard about the Bears was closing, and for a moment, it felt like a part of my childhood had been ripped from me and stomped flat. But there going to be back and what a relief that is. Been a fan of the Country Bears since the 70's. I trust you will document the new show for us. COUNTRY BEARS FOREVER!!!

I’ve Never even been to Disney and this got me choked up when they let y’all back inside. Something very sad about seeing an old show like that go away. Likely those voices will be changed and gone from the park forever, as (almost) all of(?) the original singers are dead.

What? So they're taking away their southern accents? First splash mountain, then country bear, they'll probably get rid of frontier land next sadly. This is starting to sound less of a racist thing and more of a prejudice thing against the hillbilly aspect , interesting.

Glad that they're going to be revamped, as those animatronics are old and hopefully the new Bears will be fantastic considering the newer technology. These may last as long if not longer than the originals. Also, many have the older shows recorded, and while not as good as in person, they'll still be able to see the older version.

Awww🫶 what a great tribute from the country bear fans. As a past Disneyland employee that worked in costuming a bit, I’ve spent a lot of time with this bunch. From early mornings changing out oil leaked furs/costumes on the animatronics to those old, musky & heavy costumes I felt bad putting on people. These guys are Disney classics. I’m glad they are getting a revamp vs ☠️. Great video as always, Jen is still my favorite Carpetbagger copilot but I really enjoy your videos and vibe with Adam as well. Safe travels😊

A crown Jewel of my VHS collection is a NTSC VHS bootleg of a conversion of the PAL "Song of the South" done back in the 90's. They only released Song of the South for sale outside of the United States dodging backlash. The bear in Country Bear is the same one in Song of the South, The Brer Bear apart of Uncle Remus's Stories to tell the children. All reasons tie together.

The lack of originally unique attractions at Disney parks these days is a criminal. At least it's not totally somber because the bears are coming back refreshed and new. Hopefully they sing some country songs that are non-Disney. Rocky Top would be great like in the Vacation Hoedown.

I was so upset how quickly the closure was announced…didn’t get a chance to come back and see them one last time… Of course WDW maintenance couldn’t get the show up. It’s been slipping the past few years. Such a shame. I remember watching this show with my grandparents…and my parents…and just last year for the first time with my daughter who loved it. Things like this are memory makers. I hope the new show is good.
