The new 'Voice Isolation' feature from FCPX. Using machine learning, FCP is finally smart enough to remove background noise from audio (without it sounding weird), with the click of a setting!

I have a 2 person dialouge podcast. I started first with Premier, lots of bugs, then after few months, switched to Resolve, Multicam flow is just plain stupid with multiple audio and video file on Resolve. Last night I switched to Final cut, just few clicks and all audio and video were all good. and this voice isolation for a podcast is a game changer, no longer I need to spend 5 hours just remove the echo from one mic to another. This is good to remove mic bleeds.

Mate it's a game changer I used it on the miltary wedding rode mic was under his jacket thick jacket , lots of Rustle it's almost gone altogether

Adds some nasty artifacts. I wouldn’t use it professionally.

Huh, I’ve haven’t noticed any so far, been really impressed. May depend on the use and audio source I guess? Will keep testing
