They don't need him to be spectacular this early in the season. So he can lay back a bit and see how the other pieces fall into place. This gives the coach a chance to adjust for a long run to the postseason.

Skip always finds something to hate about Giannis. Earlier in the show Skip with. Straight face said Joel Embiid is better than Giannis. Don't believe me? Look it up. Although Harden had a crazy statline (again) he costed them the game. They are up 86-84 and he misses his man, Bucks get offensive rebound, Harden falls asleep again and the Bucks tie it up at 86. It is clear when you watch that the Bucks are champions because they were poised at the end and the Sixers seemed lost at the same time.

they almost blew the double digit lead but they survived thanks to that clutch 3 and great defense in the last 2 possessions. Refs were bias Maxey touch that last possession they were blind but I guess Bucks were out of challenges.

Hardens bad habit of foul baiting backfires because now he’s expected the call and will take the bad shot. Maxey was wide open but James already decided what he was gonna do when he drove

Yeah, that's why doc put Thybulle instead of him in that last play, and then Tobias blew it up by leaving Matthews alone. Harden in the last to blame in the team, and was the best player on the court.

Nba has to bring back reviews to plays at end of game. Even if it's only last minute instead of last 2 minutes. Obvious miss call with 9 seconds left in game almost cost bucks the game against a team they only see 3 more times this year. This game could have cost them home court in playoffs.. This wasn't some non meaningful first game of season. Everyone including announcers instantly knew it was bucks ball but reffs fucked up it up🤦‍♂️

No foul on PJ Tacker either. The refs did as much as they could but it wasn't enough.

REAL QUESTION: final seconds Harden drives and Jrue is there on defense, Harden misses, No foul was called. I thought it was clean defense (but i admitt i dont know everything about bball and could be wrong), harden steps in to initiate contact and then throws up a weak shot. I dont think there shouldve been a call but im seeing some say there shouldve been a foul called and clearly "hands up" Harden wanted a foul. What is the rule here?

No foul, Harden initiated the contact, Holiday was already on his spot. Apart from that, there was no foul on PJ Tucker (2FTs) who just jumped out of bounds for the ball and the last out of bounds call was wrong - the Bucks should have possession since the ball went out of bounds last touched by Maxey. The refs did as much as they could but it wasn't enough for the Sixers.

It's a play dictated by Rivers. Embiid is supposed to get the ball on the FT line so that the opponents will not double him immediately as they do when he receives it on the side. Embiid was supposed to drive inside and either finish or pass. Instead he decided to shoot...
