Having dominated the opening race of the 2024 FIM R3 bLU cRU World Cup season to win with an 11-second margin, Gonzalo Sanchez started Race 2 as the man to beat. A penalty meant he started not from pole position, but from fourth on the grid, but would that stop him from doing the double? It was yet another exciting race, with a few crashes but, fortunately, all the riders involved walked away uninjured. The next FIM R3 bLU cRU World Cup round takes place at Assen on 20-21 April.
