The 𝗜𝗻𝗻𝗼𝘃𝗮𝘁𝗼𝗿 𝟳𝟭𝟲 𝗠𝗼𝗹𝗱𝗯𝗼𝗮𝗿𝗱 𝗣𝗹𝗼𝘄 gives you full adjustability for plowing depth, while the pivoting design lets you reverse the moldboards to make right- and left-hand-side passes to help finish plowing faster. Using larger-horsepower tractors, the on-land Innovator 716 gives you maximum productivity in a variety of sizes.
Using the leverage of an upgraded pin system, FIM has made the 716 plow fully modular allowing farmers to adjust their plow to add or remove bottoms based on their specific needs. The seventh bottom can be removed to use only six bottoms for deeper plowing or smaller tractors. You can also add additional bottoms to take the plow up to eight or nine* bottoms for higher-powered tractors and wider cuts.
The 𝗙𝗜𝗠-𝟭𝟲𝟬𝟬𝗚 𝟴-𝗪𝗮𝘆 𝗣𝘂𝗹𝗹-𝗧𝘆𝗽𝗲 𝗚𝗿𝗮𝗱𝗲𝗿 can save you time and money by completing a variety of jobs using a single, adjustable, multi-use implement. With a tilting/swinging blade, vertical adjustment, and tilt angle, there are no limits to what you can accomplish. The FIM-1600G is an easy-to-use tool whose overall length and tilting blade allow for better control of rear sideways movement. Each unit includes removable blade sides to convert the blade into a powerful box blade. The FIM-1600G is a stunning combination of land-plane, box blade, maintainer and dirt scraper whose versatility is a valuable asset for any operation.
The FIM-1600G features dual hydraulic cylinders to control moldboard tippage and blade tilt, an easy-to-read tilt gauge, replaceable high-carbon steel shins, a safety lock for the top cylinder and easy-to-install box blade end caps with on-board storage. The FIM-1600G comes ready-to-use with all hardware and hydraulics included.

    Thanks! It’s quite a sturdy, solid American-built machine! Using a spine that’s built out of 8x8”x1/2” solid steel tubing, our plow can reach a max depth of about 21”. The wider tires also help to keep that depth accurate by “floating” on the soil instead of digging in. Other plows in this class feature narrower tires and a thinner welded spine. Thanks for watching!

    How many acres per hour can you that 7 bottom plow do. We used to Moboard plow but now we chisel all are hay fields doesn’t do quite as good as a Moboard plow . Moboard plowing is so inefficient. for us that’s why I’m wandering. If this is efficient then we would consider buying this plow.

    As you know, acres per hour will depend on many variables like tractor horsepower, available traction, soil conditions and, ultimately, speed of travel and turning efficiency. But, typically, at 4-6 mph, you could expect to cover around 6-10 acres per hour. We would love to learn more about what you guys are working with and work to answer all the questions you might have. You can reach us at 432-758-0068 and get in touch with one of our team. Thanks for reaching out and we look forward to hearing from you!

    Just curious but what is a good way to clear hog pits from a field.

  • @FIMTX

    There are probably a lot of ways to answer this question, but you could use the FIM-1600 Grader with the added box attachments to move the dirt from other parts of the field to fill the pits and then use the open-ended blade to level the ground around the area. Due to the implement design of our grader, you can do a lot of the things a typical more expensive maintainer can do at a lesser cost by utilizing your existing tractors. If you have any more questions about our grader or any of our other products, please don't hesitate to call us at 432-758-0068 and visit www.fimtx.com/ag to see more. You can also email us at info@fimtx.com. Thanks for watching!

    We have a customer video showing a 9-bottom version being used to plow heavy cotton stalks (kzread.info/dash/bejne/n6qIq9OhntzRpKQ.html). It performs well in various soil conditions and with the heavy-duty materials we used to design the Innovator 716, it can take a beating. If you have more questions, we’d love to hear from you! Thanks for your comment! We are unaware of any frame issues with the FIM plow, but have seen it occur in some of our competitors early main booms. However, if you’re referring to the main pivot pin breaking on the Innovator 713 plows, we can confidently say that issue was addressed and resolved with our redesign in 2016. The model number of the plows with the new pin design was changed to Innovator 716 at the time, and all of the “old” 713 plows were brought into our plant for an upgrade to prevent those issues in the future. Thanks again for your feedback!

    Different green. And we think it’s made much better. 😁 The John Deere has narrower tires and is built on two pieces of 5/16” bent, welded steel. Our tires are 5” wider which helps with maintaining accurate plowing depth and a solid steel 8” square tubing for a strong, durable spine. Also, it’s built right here in Texas (made in the USA).

    Who plows anymore?

  • @FIMTX

    @FIMTX

    Lots of farmers use plowing as a vital part of their operations. For example, out in west Texas, the wind blows a lot, so farmers often use plowing as a way to sand fight and keep their soil from blowing away. Also, they rotate crops of peanuts and cotton, so the ground has to be prepared and maintained for each crop every year. There’s still quite a demand for plowing in a lot of areas around the country.
