I had to comment just to thank you for some inspiration! I'd been struggling on how to incorporate tarot spreads into my grimoire for months (I'm not good at freehand) & seeing your spreads laid out as they were was such a lightbulb moment. Thank you for sharing this video, it's helped me so much!

Loving The planets and it's keywords you've done and your favorite spreads or spreads you use more reusing some things and writing down a short reference to your herbs and oils that you've tried, especially if you're not allergic to them and you've tried them and put a star next to it. Love your Spider Ring!! Altar Tour YES!! Looking forward to it. I have a Celtic Knot Journal that I'm using for my Celtic Spirituality, Deities I'm working with and what works to keep in that Grimoire and adding the Celtic Tree another Journal with a Celestial on the cover(That I haven't used yet) and I just bought yesterday a new journal, with a Moon and Autumn Tree on the cover. I also have an journal for my card readings, another journal for my general/favorite correspondances and another journal of all the herbs I have in stock and their meanings in another journal. So yeah... I will come back when you post another video.

That's awesome! And thanks! The spider ring is a poison ring so it opens up and it's got a little compartment which I LOVEEE!!! Can't wait to film and do the altar tour. It might be a two parter or a long one cause I love my details and sharing!

I love this, thank you for sharing! Your view of BoS vs Grimoire was extremely helpful to hear. it seems so simple but I haven't been able to put that into words, but that's what works for me as well. I also just haven't figured out how I want to keep all my info, how many journals, etc. And haven't even used any of them in ages and am basically revamping my whole practice so it's all a mess for me right now LOL But this was inspiring and helpful!

I gutted a hardbound book and made my grimoire out of that. It has 4 signatures in it but I didn't bind any of them together so I can remove pages easily. Thanks for sharing your set up. I'm going to have to try the self care spread.

Lol I use a filofax clipbook for my grimoire... nice to see I am not the only filofax grimoire user. I use an orginal filofax for bujo and grimoire but transfer the spiritual stuff to the clipbook after. :)

Love this! I use a purple A5 Filofax Malden for my bos actually. Love being able to move stuff around because I am constantly restructuring it. I love being able to punch stuff and stick it in there. I got some printable vellum from amazon so i'm thinking of making some witchier dividers and dashboards. I love paper lol

This is an interesting concept and I'd be interested to find out how it works for you! I used to have a massive binder as my Grimoire and a notebook as my BoS, as time has progressed I've found that I always return to my BoS but not my Grimoire because my BoS has the raw elements and shows the evolution of my ideas and how they developed which I find super helpful when reflecting. Also I may nip that tarot spread at 11:28 to help with my reflections.

Yes I tend to look back on my books of shadows more for sure. I'm more connected to them and I remember them more. So who knows? Maybe one day I'll just put all the stuff in a notebook. I do want to just my filofax for something. And yes that self care reading is soo good. I don't know the original source. I got it off pinterest years ago

Oh my, your book is so nice. Love the art on the pages. It really makes them pop. I have several different styles of BoS type books because I do arts/crafts/journaling as my go-to expressions. I've not yet done a book in the style like you have here but I've been intrigued to do so. Unfortunately I end up with a LOT of material I want tp put in and those little books are just not going to have enough width the handle it all, lol. I'm still looking at various ones out there. I know I don't want a full sized ring binder but one that is the dimensions you have in your vid. It just has to be able to fit a lot more pages. Any suggestions on something like that? Really love your book and it's making me want to start mine!

You could always try making your own junk journal if you have some paper and glue laying around. Makes it super special and customised to your needs!

@@nyssa853 I do all my own book binding. I have a traditional 5 inch thick tome I made from scratch, a scrapbook of shadows, traveler's notebook of shadows, junk journal of shadows, etc. I'm a craft-a-holic, lol.
