Filming Locations Tour Of Southport, NC | Old Brunswick County Jail & Old Smithville Bury Ground
Today we are in Southport North Carolina. We are going to be looking at filming locations for some of pop cultures top movies and tv shows. Also, I plan on stopping by to see the Old Smithville Burying Ground and the Old Brunswick County Jail. We have a lot to see. So lets begin!

Burying ground looks like a nice neighborhood actually. Oldie history when you get into the 1700s. Looks like a lot of nice pathways. Great water views at ft Johnston. What a beautiful day to roam around. Great filming locations. Never saw safe haven. But I remember the horror movie.

Safe Haven has a cult following. I watched last year with my wife. KZread was airing it for free at the time. I made a complete filming location video last fall about it.

Thanks Carolyn! Southport is a favorite coastal town of mine. I love riding the ferry across the Cape Fear to get there. It is such a fun day trip.
