Filming Location in Kuala Lumpur: Police Story 3 - Supercop (1992 Movie: Jackie Chan, Michelle Yeoh)
Police Story 3: Super Cop, is a 1992 Hong Kong action movie starring Jackie Chan, Michelle Yeoh, Maggie Cheung, Kenneth Tsang, Yuen Wah and Bill Tung.
Samantha Schubert who was a Malaysian actress, model and titleholder of Miss Malaysia World 1991, was featured as Maggie's Cheung colleague during the scenes of tour group at Merdeka Square as well as at Hyatt Saujana's swimming pool.
A significant aspect of this movie is that it was the first Jackie Chan film from Hong Kong to use sync sound, allowing all the actors' voices to be recorded as they spoke on scene, rather than dubbed over by different actors later.
Exterior scenes were filmed in Hong Kong, Shanghai and Kuala Lumpur; and Interior scenes were shot in Kuala Lumpur.
I had the opportunity to watch the helicopter stunt by Jackie Chan in 1992 when I was at the KL Old Railway Station during the filming (by chance as I was there buying train ticket for my university's semester break).

On this day 27 April 2022 , Kenneth 'Ken' Tsang , which played as the main antagonist Chaibat , died at the age of 86 . He died during do quarantine at one of the hotel in Hong Kong after he visited Singapore.

Die hard fan since early 80s! Quite tedious as it took nearly a month of researching and filming during MCO. Plus the drone was jammed on 1st trial for final scene as it was next to sensitive area ie. military camp in Batu/Sentul. So had to fly again a week later at the camp's border, swiftly before it got jammed again. Lesson learned... 😂😂

Landasan yg jackie chan kene palang besi tu stn komuter tmn wahyu... Selepas filem tu ditayangkan, landasan keretapi tu dah jadi landasan mati sehingga pihak ktmb menghidupkan balik landasan sbg laluan komuter ke batu caves

Terengganu especially Terrapuri is definitely a filming heaven for Hollywood movies once it's known. State's tourism body has to work harder to make it a reality

Actually, Malaysia is The Best Natural scenic location for shoots 🎬 according to 1️⃣ of the Producer I spoke to last 2️⃣weeks during my TVC Ensure Gold Milk at Sepang. A very young but talented Producer who graduated his Masters in Beijing. He shared his knowledge & experience with me during our 🎬 & mentioned that Malaysia has more Creativity compared to China in terms of movie 🎥🎞️ making and we're more liberal! 😉🥳🤗💪🏻

@@JenutTN Malaysia is a Gold mine. The individual State Tourism definitely needs to beef up their pot of gold! Look at Melaka ~ before it was a Sleepy Hollow, no skills & knowledge of promoting tourism but only know how to put that bag of 💰💰in their own pockets! NOW, totally 3️⃣6️⃣0️⃣° turn/change! I couldn't confirm the exact location but my guess was Kajang Prison. The entrance looks different today

Couldn't remember exactly the date but I remember I bought my train ticket in February or March 1992 for my mid term semester break in March when the filming at train station took place
