Nightbreed tells the story of a man named Aaron Boone who becomes part of the Nightbreed. A tribe of nearly extinct monsters who live underneath a cemetery that is known as Midian. It's an epic tale that could have led to so much more.

This is such a frustrating film. Like you said there was so much potential not realised. This, sadly is a recurring theme with Barker's adaptations onto film. The studios, execs and marketing teams just don't get him.
