excellent vlog. great production value. I love how you intermingle the shooting, the output and the video narration. I will follow for the next photoshoot. Wildwood 1950's coloring is 'wild'. I did really enjoy the video! Lovely work! I am a b&w shooter but your use of color is great! Fuji has great sensors! I did own and use several original X100 and still use a X70 so now and than and the results are great!

Great video Kam! As a filmmaker, I don't mind the fact that you were using your iPhone to shot the video. It's all about the content, your story, your trip and obviously the photos you show to us. I was in same mood about films ($$) and bought a X-Pro 3. I'm looking forward to try it for my next trip!

Beautiful shore photos! I think my personal favorites are the Wildwood ones with that NJ beach architecture and the gorgeous light. What you mention about recording on the phone makes a lot of sense; I’ve just been noticing that a lot of Grainydays / Bad Flashes road-trip videos are shot on their phones, and it seems like a great way to shoot establishing shots and b-roll for everything without having to go crazy with yet another full sized camera. Then, back at home, you can record a narration to camera with higher quality. What people really come for is the photography and the good vibes, right?

Beautiful images! The 100V looked surprisingly good. Was there a film sim you tended to shoot and how much editing did you do to your jpgs?

Thank you! I shot with the Portra 400 film emulation! If I shoot JPEG with the Fuji X100V I'll edit them slighty (highlight, shadows, contrast and colors)

I have been taking pictures with the X100V since mid 2020. Sometimes the auto focus is not 100% but overall I am very pleased with the camera. I like the aspect ratios in particular being able to change for my Rose Flowers photography. Astia Colour simulation is my favourite and a tip that I have is to try to de-saturate Astia for the black and white images. This just seems to work for me and I prefer this to the Ascros.

You did a great job , I use to go there often to obx , and lived in Grandy on sound for 3 years . I have taken pics for a long time down there . Wished I had these resources years ago to share . I have a Sony alpha 300 or 350 DSLR now ( been awhile, think it's 350 )

You got to make a plan to see the wild horses on corova Beach . So many fun things to photograph and see , sunsets are awesome . You have made me remember the beauty there ( haven't been in 10 years plus )

Congrats to your videos and work you put into. May I ask in which quality you develop (or let develop) your film pics? I for myself let my films develop at a laboratory in lower quality to safe some money. On Instagram they look quite ok, but I wonder if they would be still enough quality if I would make a video like you. Anyway, keep going. Appreciate your channel.

Keep the trips coming in 2023, the X100V will save you money that can be used for gas and lunch, all you need is a charger to keep shooting. BTW your friend has a nice body 0:50
