We've all been there, you stand there with the hose for what seems like an eternity filling the water tanks, only for the water to spill out the filler neck and you think, cool- it's full. You check the guage yep good to go.
You set off for the weekend, find an awesome spot, the kids or the missus has a shower, and boom, tanks are EMPTY! what? but I filled them...
Most caravans these days run the BMPRO dipper tanks sensors in Hume 90Litre water tanks, these sensors have 5 levels.
1. Empty
2. 25%
3. 50%
4. 75%
5. 100%
The catch is 100% is actually about 3/4's full. You still have heaps to go, but when you fill with a hose from the water tank filler most tanks develop and airlock and you may think it's full and the guage is telling you it's above 100%, but you are no where near full.
With these 3 things, you can now fill you tank from the bottom, eliminating an air lock and actually filling your tank, the filler neck to 100%. Longer showers here we come :)

These are what make the system work, and with the cap wasps shouldn't get in there.

Self explanatory, if you have to ask, you should of helped your dad hold the torch more when you were younger.
This is enough for 2 fresh water tanks, it will be amble hose, you'll use less than 3metres.
