How to Cook the Crispiest Lechon Belly.This is by far the crispiest & juciest Lechon Pork Belly we ever made. You can make this at home as one of your noche buena dishes.
Ingredients:
1 pork belly(liempo) slab
salt & pepper
Procedure:
Season the meat w/ salt and pepper
Line a baking pan with aluminum foil
Put a rack/grate on the pan
Lay the meat on the rack with skin side facing up
Preheat oven to 350f/180c
Put the pan on a middle rack in the oven
Pour water in the pan. This will keep the meat soft and moist
Bake for 2 hours.
Increase temp to 400f/200c and bake for 30 more mins
Refrigirate overnight
Air fry at 400f/200c for 30 mins. Alternatively, broil in the oven until crispy for about 30 mins.
Cut in serving sizes prior to serving
