Everytime I am hearing this Indigenous Kid singing it draws me to tears. He is singing thru his heart. Though he forgit the lyrics but still he captured our hearts.

So this is the audition round where contestants will sing a song of their choice and the three judges will turn their chairs if they like the voice and they think they have the skills to train and work with that their talent and help the contestants through their expertise. If more than one of the judges turn their chair the contestants will chose their preferred coach. So the judges just don't listen for good voices they also take into consideration what can they offer to teach these contestants and improve on their vocal capacity and music genre of choice. That's why when you say "but the kid did so well why are they not turning" the judges can still appreciate these contestant's are talented but if they feel that the contestant's voice doesn't suit their genre of expertise they prefer to not turn their chair to give the other judges a chance to turn their chair if they feel that they would suit better for the contestants. ABOUT THE JUDGES: The judge in the red dress is Lea Salonga internationally recognised for her roles in musical theater such Miss Saigon, Les Misérables and she also is famously known for being the singing voice for two Disney Princesses namely Mulan and Jasmine. The guy is Bamboo Malañace main vocalist for the rock band Rivermaya and has won a lot of awards such as vocalist of the year. Lastly, Sarah Geronimo is a Filipino singer and actress. Referred to as the "Popstar Royalty", she is known for her musical versatility and performances.

When someone hits their button. It means that they want you on their team. If more than 1 person hits their button, then you get to choose whose teams you’re on. Then you move on to the battles where you’re paired up against 2 other kids

Most of the songs are chosen by the contestants themselves. They are not given songs. I agree with your top 2 choices. Esang (little girl who sang Home that almost made you tear up) and Sassa have that unique vocal tone. You can't teach that. You either have it or you don't. The girl who sang Emotion (the one you said sounded black) actually won for the season. Esang is doing classical music training while Sassa has a KZread channel where she does covers (she recently been delving into rap). The most successful of all the featured kids here is the first one who sang (Darren Espanto). He is active in singing, acting and hosting. Majority of these kids are now young talents in the Philippine music industry with the exception of a few who focused in their studies instead.

You are right the last performer won the 2nd season of the Voice Kid Philippines

These three coaches chooses who they want to be on their team. They have different singing styles and different types of music they play to. For example coach Leah, she's more on theater and broadway so she will choose someone with strong and clear vocals just like Esang (Of course in the blind auditions, the contestants chooses who they want their coach to be unless one chair only turns.) As for coach Bamboo, he's genre is rock and pop, he has a unique style, that's why you'll see him savour the moment before turning to find that unique spot, then there's coach sarah, which is more on pop, she chooses someone with strong vocals and will show versatiliy. That's why sometimes they take time in turning, because they want to know if they'll be perfect for their team. They can't just turn to anyone who has a good voice because there's a limit on choosing.

It is better to gave them a difficult song for them instead of a song that matches to them voice.. it's better to start to learn a song that not compatible to their voice because is that the keys for being a great singer... Dont focus for the things that you already can do just think for the other things that can give you a new more talent not only for singing but for any thing else in this world
