Honestly I’ll take that first playoff run with him with a grain of salt, because he’s still young and those were his first 14 playoff games. I was just a little turned off by the number 8 I kept seeing.

@@emperoralvis6559 I think he was just being a tough guy and having a no excuses attitude, which I admire. Reports are he had his arm bandaged up before playoff games. That’s the reason why he hardly shot the entire series

He’ll be 34 when his contract expires with the Canucks. Most defensemen peak at about 35 so this is a great signing for the team.

Honestly I’m happy to see this side of him, last year I guess gave me some doubts, it really looked like from the outside that he was disgruntled. I get the Canadian media sucks, even us fans hate it but the attitude I was seeing was basically an f you all which I didn’t really respect. Feel a lot better about the contract hearing this and seeing this side of him
