Media is gonna blow the Hronek response out of the water. It's really not a lot to talk about. If Hronek knew why his point production dropped, he would have done his best to fix it. No injury to disclose. Not much more to it.

I don’t really understand why everyone is worried about Hronek if he wants to be here he will are they gonna give him 9 million no, and there isn’t any hard evidence that he is asking for that. The reality is if his ask is to high and the team wants to wait another year then you can just qualify him, if another team wants to give him a big contract take the picks if he doesn’t he’s gonna cost under 6 million for next year. If he pops off offensively and you can’t afford him you trade him during the season for a boat load. The reality is he’s a good defence man wether he is putting the puck in the net or not. When you hold people to unachievable standard you will be disappointed, you never know what someone is going through. He went from the highest of highs to extreme lows. Give the guy some slack. I can tell you one thing if fans and reporter continue to treat players the way he is getting treated no one is ever going to want to stay/sign team friendly deals. Be excited for the future we weren’t supposed to make the playoffs, then we were going to get kick by Nashville then destroyed by Edmonton we didn’t. The future can be bright if we let it let’s not ruin it before it begins! Ingen ko på isen

Eh I think both JPat and Hronek could have handled it better. I think what JPat meant was something along the line of “we have been accommodating you all season by leaving you alone, just answer our questions and accommodate us once”. Could’ve said it a lot better. Hronek could’ve just memorized a few politically correct answers and cycle through them so he was saying something but essentially nothing. I doubt he’s like this in real life. Saw clips of him in the charity dinner/auction thing organized by our team with many fans. He was different away from the media.

Most of you only give a sh!@ when the team is near the top of the standings. Honestly Canucks fans are some of the most bandwagon jumping pos fans in the league. I know Flames fans who always cheer on their boys even when they're struggling. I mean WTF it seems 75 % of fans want Hronek traded. Think about where the team was before he got here. Hronek isn't the only reason the team was significantly better this year, but think for a minute. He plays his first year for the team, and all of a sudden, the team makes the second round of the playoffs and had the most points in the Pacific division. Was that by coincidence, or was it the fact that Allvin added a very good right shot Dman to the team.

Because he wants 8m a year despite not producing the 2nd half of the year. He is good dman but he's not an 8m a year dguy when he can't drive his own pairing

Really? skill wise all around....These 4 players can all go(maybe keep Ian Cole) maybe.......what does any one of them offer? (that cant be easily found elsewhere? (Hronek seems bit blah BUT also understand him in dealing with stupid media Qs and "What the f" do they wanna hear?

We got soucy for another two years he played great. Had injuries but in playoffs he was killer and did amazing. Joshua and Garland have a great line together and the chemistry is great. Hronek had a great first half and slid but he was a great partner for huggy. Ian Cole is solid but was a liability in the playoffs due to injury but no way you just say let go of soucy Joshua and hronek. That’s crazy.

Hronek needs to go. He's not worth as much, or more, than Hughes. He's on crack if he thinks he's worth that. He was useless in the playoffs and the only reason he had any points at all is because he played with Huggie.
