Are the Canucks making a big MISTAKE here??

Спорт

@ChangLRC Big Z is more proportionate and as a result, more imposing to smaller opponents. Myers is more gangly, being probably 20-25 lbs too light and someone easier to dislodge off his center of gravity. I'm 6'6" and 250 lbs. I remember when I was younger and hitting bars and clubs on the weekends, I would almost always get into fights with smaller guys looking to prove themselves. As I grew older and eclipsed 240, I noticed 240 was the necessary BMI needed to bump into people in tightly packed rooms and not get challenged to a fight. Tall and skinny is no advantage to avoiding fights with angry drunks. Tall and heavier definitely is. Better late than never I guess. Lol

Regular season, Hronek was much better than Zadorov, but playoffs, it was the complete opposite. Problem is, teams don't make the playoffs if players don't do well in the regular season. Having said that, I'd trade Hronek as he wants too much and hope for a guy like Williander to step up. Having said that, I also wouldn't give Zadorov too big of a raise as that'll create problems too.

These are millionaires and talking to the media is part of their job. If you show disrespect at work, chances are, you don’t have a job for very long. But fans always blame the media for asking hard questions. Do the media always ask great questions? No. But if a player isn’t performing and reportedly wants a big contract, it’s the job of a journalist to ask hard questions. Average people shell out big money to watch these rich people play a kid’s game, so I applaud any journalist who asks a hard question- even one with an obvious answer. Their job isn’t to make the players feel comfortable. They can go back to their mansions and penthouses and do that. For years, the Canucks were terrible and everyone blamed the media for asking questions. Now, they’re good and the media continues to ask questions. Maybe they should hold these in a pub and the media buy these players a round of beers. Would that make everyone happy? Maybe Hronek can sit in Jeff Patterson’s lap and he can read him a bedtime story.

What we saw last time is you give Hughes a better partner he does better. So I think just try that again

Fuck no He wasn’t trying to stay in Vancouver before, went straight to Calgary after we let him go and we should not be so desperate to go after a guy who doesn’t want to play here and plays half a season every year

We got some attitude problems on this team, Hronek, Petey, Demko all awful with the media, it's a shame, cause this is the entertainment business, on and off the ice , these guys get paid millions to play a kids game, why do they have to be such prickly assholes

Why is it so important that hockey players hit the press? let them play the fucking game. I think they would all play better without these unintelligent sports reporters blabbering about the next trade bait.

@@thedingbatdingers4326 of course the reporters suck, most of them are idiots, but that doesn't change the fact these are pampered millionaires not able to answer a few questions, ones they should be expecting, the fans want to see these guys talk and interact with the media, how hard is to smile and answer a few fucking questions at the end of the year

@@thedingbatdingers4326 100% players shouldn’t be answering thoughtless questions. I actually praise Hronek for that response, that reporter just wanted his minute of fame.
