FILING CABINET makeover with peel and stick wallpaper in UNDER 2 HOURS!

Let me show you how I used peel and stick wallpaper to give this old metal filing cabinet a DIY makeover! With just a few hours and a not much money, you can flip your old metal filing cabinet too!
Filing cabinets are a great way to keep your office space organized, but they are so boring and ugly! A simple and affordable way to give your filing cabinet a makeover is by using peel and stick wallpaper or contact paper.
The best part is that if you get tired of the design, you can easily remove the wallpaper and start again with a new pattern or color.

We have a black filing cabinet at home and my wife hates it. She calls it “the catacomb” 😂 You gave me an excellent idea. I’m pretty sure she will love it!! Thanks 🙏

This looks great! Do you know how easy it’ll be to take the wallpaper off the metal surface? I live in a rental with a similarly ugly AC/ heating unit I want to cover, but not sure if the wallpaper will damage the surface when I remove it. Thanks!

I love the idea of using peel and stitck wallpaper. How many of each color did you use? I am assuming 4 navy blue and 1 patterned.

Love it and am going to do! Why did you use the blue in a width that you had to add two strips and trim second? They make a 32" wide roll. Is that too difficult to smooth? Thanks.

If I could do this project over I would have purchased the 32" roll and I actually discussed that in my blog post. It will be a little more tricky to smooth but still worth it rather than applying 2 rows.
