Fiio FD15 unboxing
Fiio says that this is the successor of the FD5 but will it deliver on their claims given that it's nearly half the price of the FD5?

Nice. Already purchased this cable separately (LC-RC 2024). But if I ever get the FD15, it will also be in black. Great choice.
They should have put a Black cable and called it FD-15 Back in Black

I am liking it, not V it's mildly W shaped with a well balanced delivery.
Od200, fd15 or miroak ii for male vocals?

I have no experience with the 963 audio IEMs but OD200 is smoother and warmer while the FD15 has been a bit more agile and crisp.

Pick the one you think will be better. Smoother and warm one or the Agile and accurate one. The question is, what do you want.

@@eargasmic3060 Actually I prefer more accurate and fast sounding but the reason I asked was because I already have the fd15. It is currently my favourite iem along with Kato but I want a bit more from it. One person told me that the miroak 2 is thicker and more technical sounding then the fd15 so maybe that is the one I need to look into. If my budget was higher I would just get the twilight or the tz2000 you recommended and call it a wrap. Thanks soo much for all your help i completely appreciate it.

is it downgrade or upgrade compared to Fd5 in resolution ?

It's an upgrade. Proper upgrade when it comes to resolution and air between instruments. It's not much bassy though.

In that case, FD15 is not an upgrade. FD5 is more bassy and muddy. You should look into QoA Adonis New or ISN NEO 5.
