But not only in production (where everything must be cheap), but also towards end-user oriented fields (where you have much higher profit margins). I would love to see German companies make more consumer products.

The only reason why the world is not a better place to live is only because of Adharma.(Unrighteousness) Adharma is our only enemy, Adharma is not any particular person, religion, or race. It lies within ourselves. Dharma is a notion that shows us the path, it is the concept that says to do what is required of you i.e, do the rightmost thing that needs to be done. You have do it under any circumstances. Do it unattached to the world and everything in it, be it your parents, your emotions, your desires or anything else. It is dharma, a concept, a guiding principle, a conceptualized entity that commands to do what is due to the world, the things that should be done, those things that should be implemented. . By abiding Dharma you always carry out the rightmost action. Adharma is simply not doing the this

I'm feeling good about the current progress, but something still seems off. The robots from different companies all have very rigid movements. It feels like they're combining individually learned single actions. I believe that, following the transformer model, robots should repeatedly learn various actions to a level similar to GPT-3, and then use RLHF to correct and achieve specific goal-directed actions. Currently, the level of robots is somewhat like Tesla's Auto Pilot rather than FSD.

Ok, it can now pick up 3 things and place them in a generously chamfered, guided fixture. Compared to one of my jobs once, that's two more things. One more thing if you count the cardboard sheets between each layer of parts. But my fixture was less generously chamfered, so when I started the press it sheared part of the molding die.

And when someone hacks 100k of these guys, but the version made 20 years from now, and directs them to stop making cars and instead storm the local government...you're not going to be worried? Nothing is perfect. These WILL have vulnerabilities. The internet didn't have the ability to physically pick up a gun and aquire targets. There is a huge difference between increased speed of communication and creating a physical being that can interact with the physical world and can be high-jacked and turned in to an army in an instant, never mind the possibility of a government (or billionaire) just stock piling millions of these in secret then launching an attack against anyone they choose. If you aren't worried, you are lacking imagination.

It’ll replace cognitive repetitive tasks in manufacturing. If you’re an operator or assembly line worker … this is the beginning of the end. Labour is always one of the highest costs. There’ll be instrumentation and other trades / tech roles to maintain them , but the cost is way lower. Not to mention workplace safety, eliminating human error and workplace compliance issues.

"It's slow" Well, the day has 1440 minutes, divided by 1,38 means the robot can do this task already 1043 times per day.....and 380.695 times per year.... So it already comes close to a worker with a 7 hour shift including breaks with x times cheaper operating costs only for electricity and sometimes repairs. Never gets tired, never needs a break, never is unmotivated, never needs to go to the toilet, has no holidays and is never sick.

What I find odd about the figure robot is how robotic it's movements are. Given that's its end to end ai you would expect it to move more naturally
