The figure of eight loop fishing knot is a fishing knot that every fisherman /angler should know. The figure of 8 loop not is very popular in the coarse fishing world but it can also be used for fly and sea fishing.
The fugure of eight loop knot can be tied to braid, monofilament and fluorocarbon fishing lines.
The figure of eight loop knot can also be used when joining to fishing lines together known as a loop to loop connection, also demonstrated in this video. I also show you how to, use the Preston loop tyer a fishing tool used to tie perfect figure of 8 loop knots every time. The loop tier is a tool I would recomend every angler should carry in their fishing box.

Only too glad to help. I got into coarse fishing 2 years back so much so that I started match fishing it’s a great sport. At the moment I’ve just got too many other fishing interests going on that I equally enjoy. Coarse fishing as a main interest is certainly something I will return to later when I’m unable to wade fast flowing rivers or kick about on the float tube, kayak or boat. Thank you so much. I have tried to use these things (left handed) and never seemed to get consistent results. With your method I had uniform sized and secure loops each time.

Has all the makings of a great video but without sound? I'm sure that there must be some sound judging by the hand gestures but I couldn't get it so there might be important bits that I missed.

Hi mate, I would say yes but all depends where your fishing. The estuary is not patrolled by boat but it’s a chance you take
