I really love how this song is an encore to Dogfight, since we're actually here now.

I don't know why people dislike the game and its OST. Obviously it's not the best in the series, but it is quite entertaining. But the OST... My God, it's one of my favorites. And this track normally cheers me up when I am sad. The cello parts... My favorites. ❤️❤️🤘🤘

Just an idea of how to make AH fit into the Ace Combat series. An extremely advance terrorist organization threatens all of Strangereal and cause an all out war. And so like all the other Ace Combat games, a single Ace manages to turn the tide of the war into the Allies’s favor. With the terrorist on the brink of defeat, their end seems near. However, a group of terrorist scientists develops some sort of “portal” machine that allows them to escape into our world. Once in our world, they begin to rebuild. Noticing our technological inferiority, they threaten our world with their world order. This is where Warwolf Squadron comes into play. Warwolf Squadron travels the world, desperately trying to defend our free world against a terrifyingly powerful, technologically superior unknown enemy. Meanwhile, the Strangereal Ace pursues after the terrorist group. The Ace and Warwolf Squadron’s first encounter isn’t too friendly as Warwolf tries to shoot the Ace down thinking it’s another member of the unknown terrorist group. However, after convincing Warwolf Squadron that they are not the enemy, the Ace and Warwolf join forces to bring down the terrorist organization. Under the guidance of the Strangereal Ace, the Ace and Warwolf slowly begin to reclaim back what’s our and bring the terrorist group back to their knees, the player alternating perspectives between the Strangereal Ace and Warwolf. In the second to last mission, the Strangereal Ace is shot down by the enemy Ace and severely injured, leaving Warwolf as the only pilot potent enough to shoot the enemy Ace down. In a showdown at Washington D.C, Warwolf uses the knowledge and tricks handed down by the Strangereal Ace to fight against the enemy Ace and ultimately shooting the enemy Ace down and winning the war. It’s just an idea. Not necessarily a good one but it’s at least something.

Sounds like a nice Idea, but how about adding these details to it: The Student learns from the Master, the Master who sacrificed him for his new Warwolf brother/buddy. He, the Ace saw in him his younger version.

oh, and there'll be hundreds(if not thousands of us) vs all those cannon fodders, a seriously unfair fight if I have to say, I mean, just one of us can change the tide of war right? what will happen if everyone is kinda in the same side? 'mopping the floor' or 'clubbing the baby seal' is not even an exact term, hell, a 'massacre' is not really the right term for it

ApexTallyFox Bro have you played ACI? Dying is extremely common starting and even then it's dangerous.

Dying in ACI isn't particularly common outside of raids for players with any level of series veterancy (not counting assault horizon, at least). The vast majority of my deaths in ACI coop that aren't a result of a raid (or lasers) are ones that I let happen because I was in a low-tier plane and get to respawn. That said, in an SAO styled scenario, assuming we are sticking with an AC title for said scenario, or even a DCS style sim, the more hardcore community members will very quickly have the nuggets competent. There really isn't much elitism towards noobs in the AC community, and I haven't seen much of it in proper sim communities either. We'd probably also end up with several panic button squads made up of aces whose sole job is to bail out the nuggets.

Not gonna lie, this rather disliked game did have a good soundtrack and this one stands out as the best one of the entire OST.

CPU Galva Heart That's sorta the point. I guess Bandai Namco was too restrictive of Kobayashi Keiki-san that he left the team a year (or more) ago. Don't expect music that usually comes with Kono's product in AC7.

CPU Galva Heart You mean either like AC5's Arcade mode or ACX2/Joint Assault's Ace of Aces mode, but infinite? At first it sounded fun, but it'll get stale in the middle of gameplay honestly. I think old-school AC fans were used to mission-based system where they get in, get the job done, get out. Wouldn't hurt to try, though.

TheRibbonRed Maybe even add a record system which would show you how long you lasted, which plane you used, and how many enemies you killed during that time, and see if your driends can beat it and vice versa. Of course, you might not make any credits from all that, but it still sounds a little fun to me.
