I'm going to something quite rough for my mental health right now and haikyu has been one of the only thing that kept me fighting for my dream. The story is about a girl named Ashlyn. She is the oldest of 7 children. Since she was little she enjoyed boxing. She wanted to be a boxer. Her father told her if she really wanted she's going to have to work hard and prove she can handle it. Everyday she trained day in and day out. She worked hard because she wanted to be a boxer. Since Ashlyn was a girl she got alot of hate because how strong she was for a girl. She would be told by others how girls aren't supposed to be physically stronger than man. Guys her age would say things like 'that's not a girl that a gorilla.' This thing hard and discouraged her making her feel bad about her appearance. But her brothers told her 'think about it like this those guys are jealous. They wish they were as strong as you are. Don't let anyone discouraged you about your appearance or the thing that makes you happy. You worked way to hard to give up your dream. You're a fighter. Fighter don't give up.' Ashlyn realize she should care what others think. She worked even harder to reach her goal. If you love something you do it because you're strong. No one can hold you back.
