For those who didn't knew, and i suppose that's alot. No matter if you play Champion Mode on Greatest of all time or Ameteur - fighting Isaac Frost is the same difficulty. The only difference is all the games up to - how difficulty the opponents are there. When fighting Frost there is only one difficulty, so it doesn't matter at all if you play ameteur or Greatest of all time.

That's a non truth. In GOAT he can take you out in the rounds with one square face shot. I just kept trying, restarting and got very lucky.

+SuperMrAmazingPants Maybe i just was Lucky then.. It took me about 3-4 hours to figure out the game. How to play - and now, i suppose allmost everyone feels the same way, you can win on GOAT with any fighter against any fighter. When you first figure out how to play the game, then it's to easy even on GOAT.But. I played Champions mode on ameteur, and then had 4-5 tries before defeating Frost, but i just isn't funny, when you knockout every opponents in first round throughout the Champion mode - and ofc. those fight where you can't knockout the opponent in first round, but still win to easy. So i tried on GOAT and it was alot of fun compared to ameteur. Then i faced Frost - and it was the exact same problem as on ameteur. I came trough round 1 and 2, but got caugth to many times in round 3 and 4. So i had some restarts - around 5 i guess before i came trough round 3 and 4. Then it was pretty easy. Just cover your cut and then Knock him out i round 8. So it wasn't any difference for me at all.

Almost flawless. Its clear to see that even a guy that understand Isaacs AI but still, just doing a single wrong move or if his punch just gets slightly around your guard you get rocked, and potentially instantly knocked down. In my opinion the most frustrating and hardest video game boss ever. Also note that every time you get knocked down it gets harder to get up. If you get knocked down during the first two rounds you might aswell restart

If you play a lot online and get good at getting up from KDs Frost isn’t as scary. I’ve been dropped 3x in the first couple rounds by him on max difficulty and still beat him.

I say Frost has been on steroids with McQueen constantly bribing the medical testers (just like he rigged several of Andre's matches)!

they just need to make a sequel rather that or a remake basically changing some things about the story will keeping it relatively the same as well as giving it much better graphics or of course they could do a full-blown sequel to this game honestly I would much rather prefer they do a sequel but I wouldn't mind seeing a remake I just hope that if they do a sequel they add more bosses like Mike Tyson that would be an awesome boss fight keep your fingers crossed

@@immmgolden2396 Apart from it being unrealistic, it cheapens the last fight with Frost. It would’ve been better had they pulled a Rocky 4 angle. Baby Bishop gets killed by Frost and Andre avenges him. Instead Andre is already damaged goods vs Frost.

ppl don’t realize that if you did three the same combos more than twice in a row Issac would pick up on that

Here’s how to beat frost on the first or second try: For rounds 1 and 2 you just need to keep away from frost. Only block when you need to because you need to move as fast as possible for the first two rounds. If you gets you in the ropes just push him away or fight your way out but don’t get too aggressive. Rounds 3-5 can be the hardest of them all simply due to the fact that frost can easily knock you out when you try to land a body shot. Use jabs to set up quick combos to the body. Try not to make it your goal to land all the shots in one round. Rounds 6-7 are pretty much the same as 1-2 but be more careful. Round 8 is the moment you’ve been waiting for. He can still knock you down but it won’t be as easy this time because of how much you slowed him down. Like I said before use jabs to set up quick combos and you’ll knock frost out! You’re likely not able to beat frost on your first try even if you’re a pro and if you did then you’re just lucky. Just don’t get knocked down on the first two rounds and you’ll be fine. If you do then you may as well restart.

why do people keep talking about how they knocked him out in the 8th round. I didn't do all that well, and I still felt like that was when he was supposed to go. In fact, if you have to go past the 8th with him, something is wrong. I was aggressive at times, because, I know that it can be just as effective. I landed more than the recommended body shots, and countered him over the top with right hands.

Straight up, i treated this game more like a movie. Such a simple narrative but doesn't feel too much like a rocky rip-off, and Frost is a great as a memorable villain. Voice acting was super good too.

I dodged buddy, notice I'm always moving and I only used the 1/2 combination at all times to make sure I had enough stamina to take a nicked power shot and run the hell away. The key is to not try to fight him like the ring announcer says. Float like a butterfly sting like a bee mofocka.

supermramazingpants You got hit with so many clean shots, to get past the first 2 rounds you literally just have to move around the ring, I'd bet money this wasn't on greatest of all time. 3 or 4 clean shots gets you knocked down, or hurt, and you definitely got caught by at least that many in the 1st round.

props, this is the one of the hardest final bosses in all of gaming. I gave up on it after nearly breaking my controller out of rage.

Here after 8 years, this is still an amazing achievement

It has to be pure chance. I keep my hands up, stay away from the ropes, and keep my distance with occasional jabs. Yet, he frequently knocks me out with a clean hit straight through my guard, he's overly aggressive, and I never survive being rocked. Also my clinch often phases right through his body. My fight looks nothing like yours. I still cannot beat this.

6 years... 6 long... hard years.... and I still can’t beat him...

Nah, you just have to follow instructions to the T. If you're throwing punches in the first two rounds, he'll counter you and knock you out pretty much immediately.

When Frost throws a punch you catch it with your gloves. If you time the RT/R2 correctly, you will block the shots. Mix that with head movement and body shots, you could win on any difficulty against any fighter on any level including Frost.

The best part of this game was fighting online in ranked. I did for years and had a blast. Only reason I quit was because I got a ps4 and mLB the show is where I spend all my play time now. But if they make another one for ps4 i'll be on there for sure.

Had not much problem beating this game just wait til frost tires. Just recently snapped the game disc n threw in trash because of DDA and oemm in head to head. Keep my fingers crossed for another publisher to make a real boxing game.

There is definitely a luck element to it as sometimes he drops you when he hits your gloves! Not sure if game has detention issues or bug? Body shots are terrible with philly shell as shots that don't hit get registered as hits!

I remember following the objectives for this fight. I was able to punch em in the chin and stagger him before the other rounds. Both me and my bro were shocked we staggered em and the music picked up. Goosebumps and yelling hit em!!! One of the best bosses and moments for me in gaming.

Wish they had story lines for the UFC games.

UFC 3 brought me here. FN Champion was an awesome game. Came out in 2011 and the graphics are comparable to today's game. Imagine if they started from scratch and made the same game with today's technology. GOAT.

Difficulty doesn’t matter, there was a trick in this game. When training for the fight(hitting gym bag or w/e) how good you do in training depicts how good your opponent is. You knew this:)

I played it even on amateur and he still kept knocking me to the canvas. I've improved since then but I really don't care to make my 100th attempt.

Letting go of block you move faster, mixing up head movement with that and double press back or either side moves you out of range faster!

lol, you have no idea how many times i restarted this fight the first time i played on the hardest difficulty. now i'm trying again and Frost knocked me in the first 5 seconds lol. you did good.

You modified something - tried your strategy on body and I was fatigued then KO'd every time - noo way you get all those body shots in.

First few rounds you dont throw a single punch circle around in the middle when you get stuck tap your block and try to circle around again be extra carefull when your that music. After that body spam him but only two punches at a time. Preferably left right hook to the body. But only in the middle of the ring not when your near ropes. And keep circling around him without your guard up. after you finished the 75 body punches it gets a lot easier and this way high chanche he wont be able to knock you down

I developed my own strategy from this fight. Mainly target the body to start off with to lower their maximum stamina gauge, because when you’ve got more stamina than your opponent they can deal less damage as well as take less themselves!

@@beng1603 ahh ok I see what you mean now. I do that too in every match I play. It's really evident in casual game play. I love focusing on the body in the beginning rounds and just drowning opponents with combos once they get tired.

After I could not beat him I quit and deleted the game for like 5 months Then I downloaded it back like 2 weeks ago and I just beat him this week like Monday or tuesday I was so scared of his punches 🤦🏾

Out of all the bosses I've fought on any game beating Isaac Frost took forever...

The way Frost fights in your game is not at all how he fights in mine, despite jabs or body blows he never stops throwing punches or walks away, even when I'm all the way across the ring he punches at the air which shows how machine like the attack is.

I'm trying to figure out how he didn't down you at least once during the first couple of rounds. I couldn't even do it on Pro difficulty without going down at least one time. Once you survive protecting your cut, he immediately went down. But fuck, getting that far was a pain.

He knocked me out within the first 3 seconds.
