Secrets of Fight Night Champion: FNCmethods Defensive Tutorial

Ойындар

The first in a series of Fight Night Tutorials focusing on the Defense and how it can be used strategically to overcome your opponent. This strategy requires both a patient and calm attitude toward boxing and lays the foundation for counter punching, which is one of the most effective ways to attack. A quick flash KO demonstrates a defense strategy, followed by training suggestions and setting up a fighter with defense in mind.

Also after watching this you actually missed a lot of defensive tips anyone looking for real tips read this!! Everything I say is if your orthodox, reverse if southpaw 1. Lean your body to your right when throwing a jab to slip your opponents jab or straight 2. Lean your body to the left when throwing a straight right to avoid the counter straight. 3. Step to your left when throwing a left hook to get a 90 degree angle on the punch adding more power 4. Step to your right when throwing your right straight to avoid counter straight 5. Throw a jab and if your opponent tries to counter (be at correct range) pull your right shoulder back and throw the right straight 6. When someone throws lots of body shots, block tuck down, step to either side to avoid the correct punch they throw and counter with an uppercut 7. When in close tuck down and weave side to side to avoid hooks

Draining your opponent's stamina should be everyone's first priority. 3-5 (depending on their aggression) rounds of making them miss and conserving your own stamina is the best strategy in FNC.

Fighting Marciano I can't help but try to keep up with combo's. Most of those users just spam straights and hooks non stop. So I spam the backstep hook and counter cause they just keep glued to me. It works mind you but I can't keep up with them punch for punch. I landed 40 counters and 40 powers more than opponent but I get KD's twice and lost a close decision. I was killing this guy with the damaging punches but just couldn't drop him as i usually would. Weird this game is sometmes

  • @FriendlyHomie
    @FriendlyHomie5 жыл бұрын

Weird, I've never had a problem with the judges score cards, but everyone else has. When it goes to the decision it seems it reflects the fight. Usually I know if I've lost or won a round before it's over, and the judges seem to agree. It goes off how many punches you land and miss, how good your head movement and blocking is, the amount of clean combos you get, and counter punches. I just put all this together and win. On owc I've got 216W and 49L so I think what I do works. I only have about 160 KOs so I've been to the decision a lot. People just need to not be salty and get better. Learn the game more.

Sometimes just fighting behind a jab and focusing defense is your best bet. Cuz the great thing about this game is if you find the right shots you can completely change momentum, Countering to the body after a long combination might not seem effective at first but once that round 7 hits, you can see them getting sluggish and the punch resistance dwindles a bit.

My controller is malfunctioning or something and just lost a DQ in a fight I was well ahead in going into the 9th round and had just stunned Ali (using holyfield) the for the 3rd time in fight, I popped him in the nuts. I notice this happens when I'm trying to backstep out of range sometimes

  • @Flexb123

I think power counters are THE most damaging shot in the game, that is something I can usually only do if i back step then throw a power straight. I'm also getting better at back weave then throwing an uppercut but I don't put power on it yet. My power is the R4 button on PS3 so it isn't that easy to access for me. I think thats what the button is called lol, I have to push that button with my 4th finger which isn't very agile yet lol

Does this game actually score ring generalship and defense? I play online, still a beginner but have won past 50 out of 75 fights although record is about 120-85 and fighting only at level 10. I'm pretty good at this game, play on goat with off/def awareness up a few notches, but how do u get around someone spamming jabs and straights to the body online? Just time uppercuts? Because it's the only style of fighting that makes me not want to play the game because they just spam them and you can't do much about it and I don't use the stick to punch so I don't ever use uppercuts because it's a bitch to press the buttons at the same time u end up just using a straight or hook.

JaChrys JK If you are fighting in OWC against the super spammers using the str8 you need to use this IN COMBINATION with other techniques I have not shown in order to win. Different body types lose stamina faster. Mike Tyson body type loses Stamina extremely fast. Lighter body types recuperate stamina and maintain stamina better. So many features of how you set a fighter influence other features. FNC is extremely dynamic in its design and it takes thought and experience to excel at the game.

to this day i believe this is the best game in history. That fighting system is absolutely state of the art!! THAT SAID.......the KO animations made the game shitty. If they just came out with this game, but fixed the KOs to a half ragdol and half animation system, this game would be the best in history!! ID PAY 100 bucks for it!!! The people who make these boxing and mma games need to fucking realize that the KOs are supposed to be really good. They cant have only really good striking, they NEEED good KOs as well to make it perfect

Sometimes... the best defense is a good offense. If you play me, I could show you a good offense, but just because you have a good offense does not mean you should stay on the offensive. Boxing is a give and take relationship. I WILL... LET YOU ASSIST ME.... IN YOUR ASS WHOOPIN'.

This game pisses me the f#@$ off! I can land twice as many punches at twice the connect percentage as my opponent. I land 3 times more haymakers and three times more counters that my opponent and if it goes to the judges I still lose. Good one EA sports make it as realistic as possible right down to the rigged judges. WTF Ps. im not a body spammer this game creates rage in me.

On the real, I even mssg folks to check the stats difference and sometimes I even go about my way as polite as possible to ask them how is it possible that they get the flash while I've been straight comboing on them. No ever response to my honest question. Because, while I'm doing all the proper fighting of the game, come with some nice combos, counter and etc. Hardly ever any flashes, seriously, I try to figure out how this game works. I know if you throw punches in the air with lower your stamina, so, I tried to be more effective and maintain around 70 to 80 in stamina after the 3rd round, and still can't get a good flash. Mad frustrating, is like I've to play the game knowing I won't get no flash and KO easy.

bklyncrook To get a flash often you have to have a high KO percentage. To get a high KO percentage you need to set the punch to 20. You also need a fighter that has POWER. So Infighters are more likely to get a flash because they have the most power in the game. Then you need to land that punch, each fight, each round, all the time. As you fight again and again you increase the stats that the computer has a tendency to favor in the context of a "FLASH" or landing that punch. Maybe I should start my own gym?

(lol) I feel you. I've scored three KDs on an opponent and been flashed and KO'd while moving in for the final kill. My fighter's profile is also that of a brawler so I rarely if ever get the boxer's favor no matter how many more jabs or counters I land.
