Most times you don’t feel the pain immediately because the body releases huge amounts of adrenaline with a wound like that. It probably hit him more when he sat and relax and later that night must have been horrible pain

I think it all stems from a rivalry (that only existed in some fans heads) with Chavez Jr. Everybody had big hopes on Jr. to embody his dad. Those are big shoes to fill. On the other hand Canelo only had his own story to write. People will come around, and he will be reckoned as one of the great, if not the greatest, Mexican fighters of all time.

So good seeing more of Canelos personality. Whilst he was with goldenboy we didn't really get to see that side in the UK

He just became America's favorite Mexican. They made him a star. They made him personable, they make him pray on camera, they made him tell jokes in english, they made him seem like a humble, nice-guy, bad-ass. Maybe they just magnified his personality traits, maybe they made him mr perfect, he's a star now. His price just went up with this bit. He is much more marketable. Me personally, IDGAF about none of that shit, I just like watching him fight. Good job Saul. Salute! You!

I've been a fan since he fought Matthew Hatton years ago. I speak a bit of Spanish so I've understood a bit of what he's said over the years, but he's like a completely different, and far more likeable guy, now that he speaks English so often.

I agree, it’s really great professional editing and still keeps it real and authentic. We get excited by the build up to a fight, the fight itself and you always feel like you want more. This is cherry on the cake stuff.

Watching canelo go beast mode in the 8th live is something I’ll never forget one day I’ll tell my grandkids how we packed cowboys stadium with 73 thousand inside all really for one person canelo

@@Jaime-nf9rv There were a few punches thrown in between the upper cut and Canelo raising his hands, but they've been edited out here. Canelo has always had a bad habit of landing a solid shot or two, then standing off and admiring his own work and trying to figure out how badly hurt the other guy is. I think he was surprised that Saunders didn't go down in this case. if you watch the whole sequence in real time, Canelo goes straight on the offence, and he's still throwing with mean intentions. What you could take as 'mercy' is that he only throws soft jabs to the damaged eye, while he wails away on the body and the other side of Saunders' face.

Graham Bensinger channel on here .....Canelo takes him around his home and ranch and speaks English all way through......really shows his personality in it and his life outside boxing ......🥊
