LPF had the right idea in this fight, double team as often as possible. Most teams do one on one the whole time until the first elimination but LPF would leave one fight to go and beat on another guy with their teammate that's the strategy that will get you wins. Just found this today. I'm addicted!

Dunno what USA were thinking bring a 46 year old boxer into an MMA event. If I watched correctly he pretty much goes down instantly and never gets back up. Wasted skills and probably cost them the fight.

There are plenty of boxers/kickboxers that will do well in this tournament. In the last TFC there was a polish boxer who took out 2 people against Ukraine. This particular "boxer" was a out of shape fat man who had no business doing this.

Interesting how when you allow more strikes from more angles grappling loses some of its potency. Especially in the example with the fighter going for the achilies lock. And the ground pounding heavy stomps. gosh. and the threat of another enimycoming and kicking you while you're down. Got to be much faster and finish with those grappling techniques. I can see a team good at submissions taking out 1 or two opponents very quickly and cleaning up with nothing but stomps. This is exciting. And so dangerouse.

Seems like the USA guys wanted to employ BJJ tactics of fighting from their backs. The result speaks for itself. In my opinion this team fighting will need more wrestler types that can dominate from the top. No point in having somebody in your guard when another guy come from out of nowhere and kick or punch you in the head.

Converting kg to lbs, the matchups were: 138 vs. 236 178 vs. 222 150 vs. 218 238 vs. 230 238 vs. "189" I'm calling shenanigans on the last Latvian fighter being that light, as he conveniently just barely got his team under the 500kg total weight limit and still looked bigger than USA's most imposing fighter. The Latvian team wins this fight 10 times out of 10 unless Rhino gets a lucky shot in and immediately knocks his opponent out.

Michael Kolman Basically, it all boils down to who can eliminate the first man. Then the guy that won will double team one of the other opponents, then triple team, etc. It's pretty dumb if you ask me, and the risk of injury is much higher here because the rate of damage when it gets to 5v1 is insanely high.

Greg Ward ahh I see now, its shit ( not an american fyi) just put together with shit organizers. There is a reason all fighting sports have weight classes. Also looked a little like WWE with the kicks to the heads, irl 1 kick to the head ends someone forever, is the reason its not allowed in UFC, and in team fighting where you may not see the person doing the kicking should never be allowed, but it was, and used repeatedly, but hit like a nerf bat each time.
